Sort of a coverversion or rather a musical treatment and textual de-construction of Anne Clark's famous "Sleeper in Metropolis" from 1983. Whilst the original is dealing with the threats of social Isolation in urban contexts and ending with the rather hopeful and defiant "We will fight our insignificance", my version is describing the development and progress of depression from a state of lighthearted happiness to an all-consuming sinister state of frightful hopelessness and horror.

Akustikusneurinom, with real name Andre Ertelt, was born in 1982 in Zwickau/ Saxony.
In 1998 he made his first experience with the club scene and started buying records.
2002 he played as ‘nimm 2’ (together with DJ Kevin) in the club Seilfabrik/Zwickau.
At the beginning he felt most comfortable with Techno which, however, changed quickly and he was more focused on House.
2005 he started to work with various music software to produce his own sound.
Which started as a hobby is now his greatest passion.
In 2007 Andre moved to Langen / Hessen saying goodbye to the club scene and focused mainly on producing cross-genre electronic sounds.

Even as a small child I wanted to learn a musical instrument...

...since there was a music school in our small town where I grew up, but it was limited to the activities of the local musicians' band, the choice was rather limited... because piano, guitar or saxophone were not offered and that's why I decided me for the trumpet, which was not used for cast-technical reasons, so the FLÜGELHORN became my instrument...
In my youth I turned my back on music and was active in sports towards the end of my teenage years...
