DJ/Producer Ron Trent, rooted in the dance music world for over 29 years, is largely regarded for producing and playing an eclectic range of music. Raised in Chicago's early underground music scene in the 1980s, which transitioned from Disco into House.

A perennial presence in music since the early 90's, Ron Trent is considered to be one of the architects of the Chicago music scene. He began the journey through studying and collecting records from a young age, taking cues from his father who ran a record pool in the late 70's. This upbringing provided the strong foundations which not only enabled him to become a respected DJ in his early teens, but also gave him the confidence to embark on his own productions in the mid 80s, culminating in his first release, the highly recognized and international acclaimed classic "Altered States", in 1990.

I was lucky to be part of the early belgian dance scene which pushed me towards electronic music at a very young age.
Since then i've been on a musical journey that led me from the early Ambient sounds of the amazing Warp label through the more danceable beats of the Detroit Techno godfathers to finally discover the sweet ,funky, deep and oldschool sounds of House music.

Ever since I'm lost into all sorts of House music going from funky and soulfull to deep and jacking and developed a big taste in Disco, Funk and Soul.

In the year 2002 I bought two record players and a mixer which created a big passion for djing and crate digging and made electronic and non electronic music a big part of my life.

In 2008 I founded the party concept "Funkyfeet" with my girl Ienke. Our goal was to bring quality music from all over the globe and have loads of fun while doing so.
In the meanwhile Funkyfeet has grown into an accomplished party concept and  I've been continuing to contribute to Leuven's party scene by promoting quality underground artists.
