The Wunderkammer musical project was born from the idea of ​​Salvatore Montieri, in continuous research and musical experimentation.
The desire to face different musical and instrumental dimensions, combining the classical discipline with the inspiration of jazz and rock / pop music, and the search for new sound and percussive effects creates a mixture of unique, original and magical sounds!

Wunderkammer, "chamber of wonders", is an expression belonging to the German language, used to indicate particular environments in which, from the sixteenth century to the eighteenth century, collectors used to keep collections of extraordinary objects for their intrinsic and external characteristics.
That of the Wunderkammer was a typical phenomenon of the sixteenth century, which however has its roots in the Middle Ages. It then developed throughout the seventeenth century, feeding on the Baroque grandeur and continued until the eighteenth century favored by the typical love for scientific curiosities, typical of the Enlightenment.

Rainfall and a haunting melody, born from the ecological devastation wrought by Vale's Rio Doce catastrophe. A predicted tragedy, echoing through communities surrounding Brazil's mines.

It’s coming down, the dam will provoke.
It’s the law, we’ll pay the toll.

It’s gonna burn if the earth gets too hot.
We’re gonna lose if the water won’t drop.

Can we still believe in this land,
That elects mining tycoons as eco-grads?
Miners who killed the people,
Who killed the rivers’ soul,
Who turned into mud what God once made whole.

Black posies
round the fringes
of a memory untapped.

The same piano
that shadow now
a vampire bat.

A phantom dance
through cemetery smoke
in boots of kerosene
and glass.

Stop-sign under idle moon.
Riding to survive
beneath the dome light.
One to scar and it stayed
while the rest left.

Tar traces.
The pavement fissures.
Thin coat rise to neons.
The afterglow a mystery.

A round, a stage
an empty rink.
A drama of the ashes.
Air embedded with sweat
and leaking sinks
and snakes.

Underground unbound.
Unbolting each lock to soul.
Silent and slow 
but wrong it goes
until the fractured
break to fall

to the cellar
where all the lost ones let
the poets of the moon
ink the wall tattoos
for which to paint
their future
or their doom.

When I started composing I put a simple photo on my profile of a landscape where an important photovoltaic and solar installation near Seville stood out and which I visited for professional reasons.

About 10 Years ago I changed it for another one (the current one) where I blur my face (I admit that I'm a bit shy about these things).

After sending several photos of myself to the people I've collaborated with, I thought that maybe it's time to make myself known as I am now to the rest of the people who don't follow me.

A face is no longer just that...that's why I've simply called this composition face.
