Hello again friends and Listeners,

It Delights me to celebrate the 8th birthday of one of my eldest 'Musical Children'.  Her name is 'Tiramisu'.  Pronounced - Tear - Ah - Mih - Su 

In foodie talk, her name alludes to what one might call a 'Pick-Me-Up'.  ;-)
I named her after the delicious Italian Dessert made of Lady Fingers, Custard, Hazelnuts, and Chocolate!  MMM mnm mm .  

May She "Live Long and Prosper" !

It's a Big Band orchestral Fusion piece with all kinds of delicious phrases, sounds and rhythms within it. Composed over 2 months in 2016 on Saturna Island here, it has some 24 layered tracks, and i trust you'll find it a surprising change from the simple but passionate organic improvs i've been posting lately.  :-D

Here's how composer Francesco Adornetto described it.

"A joyful burst of color and rhythm — Tiramisu is as rich and layered as its namesake. With a really eclectic, multi-genre sound, it blends nu jazz, big band, and electronic elements into a playful celebration that feels both nostalgic and fresh.
