Deep Downtempo Immersion

Live recording of my set at Garden of Joy on the final night/morning of Nowhere 2022, Europe's regional Burning Man (Sunday morning, 02.00-04.00). 

This was an improvised mixture of upbeat melodies and dark mental vibes, with some groovy basslines in between. I hope you enjoy the ride! Last weekend I was invited to play at We Fly Wild, a crew of electronic music lovers that organize pop-up events and a festival on the west coast of Sweden. I am glad that I finally managed to record my set and put it out here for the rest of the world to listen. It has been a while to say the least. Most of my focus has been on local events in the last two years. I miss you crazy people that I met on different events around the globe. Here is a sign of life from the tiny Swedish island. Time to awake 

„Stell dir vor es ist Krieg und keiner geht hin.“ 
Es beginnt mit einer Lüge. Ein Ereignis wird instrumentalisiert, ein Feinbild kreiert und eine zweckdienliche Gruppe entsprechend dämonisiert. Die Herrscher und ihre Sprachorgane teilen die Menschen ein in wir und die. Denn wahren Zweck erfährt man in der Regel spät bis nie. Angeblich kämpft man für Land, Leute oder den Glauben. Tatsache ist, man soll anderen Menschen ihres Lebens berauben. Im Feld hebt man dann seine Faust, sein Schwert oder Blei gegen einen Bruder. Erschlägt einen Vater, Ehemann oder Sohn. In der Gewissheit man tut es für Ehre, Rum und einen angemessenen Lohn. Doch irgendwann kommt dieser eine Augenblick, man erkennt sein und seines Gegenübers Missgeschick. Dann sickert die Erkenntnis klar und deutlich in sie alle ein. Jeder von ihnen ging einem Lügenkonstrukt auf den Leim. Also lässt man das Morden und die Grausamkeiten sein und geht einfach wieder heim. 
Die Eingangs zitierte Allegorie soll an die Kraft des Individuums erinnern. Jeder hat Schwächen und keiner ist unfehlbar. Jedoch sind Menschen lern- und entwicklungsfähig. Hab den Mut dich dieser Fähigkeiten zu bedienen. Erkenne dich selbst und dein wahres Wesen. Durch das Wissen um dieses Fundament, lösen sich alle Ängste und wie von selbst beginnst du Brücken zu errichten.
Das Set von Deisen ist wie ein Spiegelbild der Seele. Gelassen in seiner Mitte ruhend und dennoch kraftvoll. Aufbrausend wie Gischt auf See, doch in den richtigen Momenten versöhnlich wie der Sonnenaufgang nach einer langen Nacht. 
Wir bedanken uns für dieses Manifest der Ausgewogenheit und wünschen angenehme 58 Minuten <3

Shooting Stars

Born and raised in Guanajuato, México, has been living for the past 9 years in Oslo, Norway. Having spent most of his childhood in the mountain hills of the Mexican "bajío" with his indigenous ancestors brought big influence to his life. Pre-hispanic, folkloric, Latin-American, tribal and shamanic sounds conform an essential part of his musical exploration. This is for him, a way to keep his roots alive. Saul introduces complex sets, giving as result a multi-cultural sounds journey which appears to transport you to ancient rituals, always by the hand, naturally, of powerful and hypnotic basslines. Oslo has welcomed him with open arms and he's now earned the city's nightlife respect due to his consistent work. With his international debut show at iconic party Woomoon Ibiza, he's proven his talent goes beyond borders and it's ready to turn the dancefloor into the party everyone wishes to experience.
