Obzidian formed in late 2001 when Baz (Guitars), Paul (Drums) and Jeffsy (Bass) who had known each other since the start of high school, formed the basis of the band. It was in the spring of 2006 that Baz decided to take over the role of lead and rhythm guitars alone for a cleaner more groove driven sound and Matty J was added as a single vocalist.

The band have played extensively around the Midlands area, centered on their Stafford base. Over the years they have broadened their horizons with gigs in: Leicester, Birmingham, Sheffield, Derby, Warrington, Manchester, Preston, Blackpool, etc and are currently working towards both English and European summer festival dates in the coming months.

In March 2007 the band signed a distribution deal with Casket Records to release their first official album "Obzidian", and they are all hoping this will be the next step for them and help get their music into the right venues and shops and into the hands of the people who matter, metal fans.

The new album 'Damned Eternal' is due for release this summer (2011) via Casket Records and will be in stores and on the web to buy.

Hailing from Wolverhampton in the heart of the Black Country, God Damn will unleash their third album on One Little Indian records early in 2020. Recorded primarily live in just a few days at Edge Studios in rural Cheshire and produced by Sylvia Massy (Tool, RHCP, Johnny Cash, System of a Down).
‘There was a physicality to the recording process- whether it be the crash of the cymbals bleeding into the guitar takes or tracking the vocals in the control room with playback blaring at 110db.

SCAR THE CROW are an alternative/grunge/rock trio from the Midlands, comprised of Tom Cox (guitar), Jack Groom (drums) and Matt Preston (bass, vocals). For a small unit, this three-piece manages to produce a big sound, offering a grungy vibe with filthy guitars and darkly-nurtured melodies. First impressions are often misleading, and delving further into the music reveals a wide array of tastes and styles, from punchy riffs to bluesy vocals and jazz-style drums.
Scar The Crow have received both local and national airplay on Midlands Metalheads Radio, BRfm and Total Biker FM, a station dedicated to the finest rock, punk and metal. The band have also made a small but impressive impact on the live circuit in the Midlands, including a slot with much-lauded metal/funk act Spirytus and a headline event sponsored by Midlands Metalheads. Each show garners more exposure and wider recognition, and the modest amount of praise they have received so far has been extremely positive.
Their live set does much to capture the energy and enthusiasm of youth, bringing the sound and style of the alternative/grunge movement right up to date. Guitarist Cox said, “We wear our influences on our sleeve – Kerbdog and Alice in Chains are obvious – but we don't forget where we are today. We're not interested in repeating the past; we want to push it forward.”
Scar The Crow have released one EP to date – 'Wasting The Day' – which offers a mere glimpse of their potential. Songs such as 'Live For The Night (The Creature)' indulge the band's taste for layered guitars and progressive riffs, punctuated with angst-ridden vocals. 'Into The Rain' brings their grunge influences to the fore, but also shows their keen sense of melody; Preston's vocal is delivered with both passion and restraint. Meanwhile, 'Determined' offers no such compromises with its dirge-like riff and a hint of Sabbath.

Their latest single, 'Hole In The Sky', was recorded at the Old Smithy, the prestigious studio that has hosted such luminaries as Judas Priest, Black Sabbath and Robert Plant. The single is available as a free download from SoundCloud.

Spawned at the foot of London’s Westway (the capital’s very own rock’n’roll main artery), making their base among the sinning streets of Kings Cross. DOGSTATE fuse rock, blues and punk with the passion and aggression of a generation that has been overlooked. With the purpose of bringing full on high energy, jams kicking rock to the masses, the band has made the road their own.
