We're excited to present the next exclusive cocktail by a youngster artist we're following for some time now. his very special creation (named by his friend: Salaar Khan) is an ode to the national beverage in his home country, Pakistan: please join us in welcoming Haider Uppal behind the counter and enjoy his delicious Murree Flurry! 

Born in Lahore, Haider Uppal has been receiving recognition by international artists and taste-maker record labels over his craft for the last couple of years. In the past, his originals have been put out on record labels such as Nie Wieder Schlafen, Dream Culture or Everything Will Be OK. 

His single Violet Woods, a co-production with Modulo out on Nie Wieder Schlafen last summer, is still buzzing through the Schirmchendrink headquarters. Recently, it was remixed by Berlin-based Soela. 

In the following months, Haider will be putting out his first EP, collaborations with veteran producer Luis Leon including a single alongside Luca Bacchetti remix, on Nie Wieder Schlafen. 

He's also the latest addition to YokoO's new imprint SATYA records and will be putting out music with him in the future. 

His style is a variety of deep and ambient house music, with a focus on groove. And so is this mix. Get ready for a refreshing summer sip!

Our Romanian friend has established himself as one of quickly rising names in the deep, melodic/progressive scene. Aiming at developing and fostering community around groovy and melancholic vibes he founded Deep House Bucharest, a home for quality deep house music. Bross keeps the dancefloor satisfied with his commitment to the groove, which has led to major appearances alongside Lost Desert, Lee Burridge and Mihai Popoviciu. His studio sound ranges from delicate and dreamy, to more groovy, afrobeat and whimsical house sounds. His most recent project "Miragviglia EP" will be releasing on Magician On Duty in September. Tick tock!  The swing glided back and forth with the morning breeze.  Nestled upon it was a tiny kitty-cat, nestling in for a cozy nap as his nose filled with the aroma of the surrounding flowers...sweet dreams...sweet dreams.

Relaxing in the meadow with us today is none other than Christian Voldstad, and his sidekick, Kitty-Cat.

Christian acquired his love of electronic while growing up in the UK. It wasn’t until he moved to New York, however, that he would attend his first underground party and find the sound that would capture him and inspire him to step behind the decks himself. Since then, Christian has become a staple of the underground scene, a party enthusiast, and an avid techno tourist.

Most recently Christian has been playing across Brooklyn and Manhattan and as far away as Black Rock City, Amsterdam, Moscow, Peru and Cape Town. His sophisticated taste in music earned him a residency for Bespoke Musik where he continues to explore his love of vinyl records, piano melodies and funky basslines.

Rashid Ajami's favorite sip is a glass of Sake. Although there are plenty of various styles, the Japanese national drink made from rice is usually rich in texture and has a unique subtlety of flavour. And we completely see similarities to Rashid's beautiful music. 

Since his emergence in 2012 was instantly spotted by the likes of Maya Jane Coles and Ramon Tapia whose remixes featured on his first release, Rashid has steadily released critically acclaimed tracks on labels such as AnjunaDeep, Eklektish, Einmusika and Noir. He and Julia Govor released ‘A Regret’, a much admired four tracker, while 2017 saw his collab with Nathan Daisy, ‘Dance Pain’, on Noir’s Dark Stars 003 Compilation and singled out by Pete Tong for BBC Radio 1. DJ gigs included Mysteryland festival, New York’s Marquee et al.

Last year he added Get Physical, Tube & Berger’s ZEHN, Tale & Tone, and Blufin to his imprint portfolio, putting a renewed wholehearted focus on music after the multitalented producer, unusually, took a brief break from the DJ booth to build a successful tech business.

Now having achieved material success and a solid back catalogue of releases, Rashid is passionate about producing music for its quality and ability to inspire dreams and emotion. ‘If I can achieve that goal with even one listener, I’m happy. I want to be true and honest with what I make.’ As a DJ, he loves to play long sets, around 6 hours, to craft the best and most emotionally resonant journeys for the crowd, while at the same time choosing records for their dance vibe – if a track makes him feel like dancing, it’ll get the crowd moving too. Reluctant to be pinned down to a genre, style or niche, he allows his music to evolve naturally.

Appropriately therefore, though obsessed with music since childhood- playing piano and violin since he was 8 – he loved all genres and rejects the idea of any specific influences. ‘I used to freestyle, breakdance and bought my first techno album at 12! I still freestyle for my friends over a hip hop instrumental when we are chilling.’ At university in the US, he began making his own music through such simple beginnings as Garageband and Logic, finding that his natural talent and feel for a vibe resulted in tracks which made a lasting impact. 
 Now in talks with big name galleries, Rashid plans a suite of original digital artworks with music: some big scale multimedia immersive installations involving other artists are also in progress. There will also be an intriguing series of limited vinyl releases as artwork. 

With an increasingly exciting year ahead full of new releases and new terrain to explore as DJ, producer and artist, 2021 marks a musical renaissance for Rashid Ajami. And we're proud of being a part of it!
