Hi everybody, my name is Jim and I’m a songwriter, I've written over 300 songs, I play guitar, bass, piano, and am a pretty good lyricist.  I play all types of music and have my own recording studio.  I use no A.I. or DAW or any computers to make my songs, all the instruments are played by me live on a multitrack studio recorder and Charlie, my vocalist, sings most of my songs and also plays the Harmonica on several tracks. I'm not a pro or a great musician but I do what I can with the tools that I have! I belong to the "Keep Humans In Music Movement" (KHMM)! An electronic musician and guitarist who especially likes the more nostalgic sounds of the 80s. Composing and producing is my favourite hobby. Thank you to everyone who listens to my music.

I learned my first guitar chords as a teenager in the 90s, that's when I also composed my first songs. Since then, songwriting has been my passion.  In the 90s, my friends and I also founded a band that worked for about 10 years. After the band ended, I wrote songs in a desk drawer and dreamed of a home studio. I also learned to play a little piano. Since 2016, I've been slowly learning to produce music in a DAW environment, first with Garegeband and later with Logic Pro X. In the last couple of years, I've learned more about composing and arranging than in the previous several years, but it feels like the journey is just beginning. Thanks to everyone who has read this far.

I used to Dj and then didn't have the space to keep vinyl or my setup. I decided to become a producer. I come from the UK Rave scene and so I Share this music to anyone who appreciates it . If I can put a smile on just 1 persons face , to me that is what it's all about , the goal has been executed.

I must add , very few of these tracks are mastered . I make most of them when my son goes to school . I just upload these tracks at the point that the time runs out and he's back from school . I don't spend more than 6 hrs on any track  ( most a few hours ) and I rarely get the chance to master them.  I just want to download my mind as quickly as possible and then upload it to soundcloud before I can pick the bones out of it and end up deleting 90% of it and starting again . If I was too serious about it , I would never upload anything 

I do my best to make music I wanna listen too

Thanks to  the music-makers ,theirs is the universe of bass and treble ,space and time ,creators of new energies ,free to imagine a world of harmonic structure and dissonant entropy.

🇬🇧 - The world of music, constantly evolving, is becoming, in my opinion, an empty universe and an empty art form, and it's terrifying to see, because here too, it's the triumph of greed.

I listen to a lot of music, and in just a few months, I've clearly felt the effects of artificial intelligence, which creates music on demand for artists, album covers, music videos, etc.

Of course, everyone is free to submit to it or not, but the easy option always appeals to those who no longer want to make the effort, the pleasure of personal research, the pleasure of creating a work from scratch by a unique human being, in their own style.

What will remain of us, what will become of our creativity, our sensibilities, our emotions? There's none of that in artificial intelligence, and it's not progress for humans, just an aid, and that's what it should be: an aid, not an end in itself to quickly produce a bland and impersonal work. So, you like it... or you don't.

I'm not a great musician, but my music and my musical universe belong entirely to me, and I will continue on this path with the firm intention of RESISTANCE; it will be my essential virtue, as always.

🇫🇷 - Le monde de la musique, toujours en évolution, devient à mon avis un univers et un art vides, et c'est terrifiant à voir, car là aussi, c'est le triomphe de la cupidité.

J'écoute beaucoup de musique, et en quelques mois seulement, j'ai clairement ressenti les effets de l'intelligence artificielle, qui crée de la musique à la demande pour des artistes, des pochettes d'album, des clips, etc.

Bien sûr, chacun est libre de s'y soumettre ou non, mais la facilité séduit toujours ceux qui ne veulent plus fournir d'efforts, le plaisir de la recherche personnelle, le plaisir de créer une œuvre de toutes pièces par un être humain unique, dans son propre style.

Que nous restera-t-il, que deviendront notre créativité, nos sensibilités, nos émotions ? Il n'y a rien de tout cela dans l'intelligence artificielle, et ce n'est pas un progrès pour l'humain, juste une aide, et c'est ce que cela doit être : une aide, pas une finalité pour produire rapidement une œuvre fade et impersonnelle. Alors, on aime… ou pas.

Je ne suis pas un grand musicien, mais ma musique et mon univers musical m'appartiennent entièrement et je continuerai dans cette voie avec la ferme intention d'entrer en RÉSISTANCE, ce sera ma vertu incontournable, comme toujours.
