Hi...I'm Max, I like music, I like to write music inspired by minimalist themes, chamber music, soundtracks and piano works. My project is to write short, simple and essential works that can arouse emotions. Music is a passion, so I don't have much time to dedicate to it. Thank you for listening to me and...any criticism is welcome!!

Here you'll find a mishmash of ideas, tunes and so-called songs (with the occasional actual song mixed in, coming mostly from collaborations). Hopefully you'll find a bit here and there to enjoy too. Please leave a comment, I appreciate feedback, let it be praise (unlikely) or criticism. Take care and have a good one.

I see a meaning in the limitation to minimalist sounds. My work blends elements of post-punk synthwave, EBM, minimal techno and trance, merging the divided aspects of our being into a cohesive, transcendent experience.

Darkwave + Dark Ambient + Wave + Experimental + Industrial

Scratch Kelly constructs a synthesis of dark ambient, industrial and wave music. She creates a diverse sonic landscape, from brutal and unforgiving industrial sounds to dreamy dark wave territory marked by melodic synth bass so deep you could drown in it. Her music is designed to bring a sense of realisation, contemplation and healing to the darker places of the psyche.
First surfacing in 2018 with as part of the Hobart based duo Soundtractor, and moving onto solo music production in 2022 with a series of self-released EP's and albums. Her work is heavily influenced by darkwave and industrial electro, but her  inclusion of complex, often experimental rhythms and emotive melodies sets her apart from the rest of the dark electronic scene. She has received her greatest exposure so far on radio and at the Unconformity Festival.
