just some stuff. I never use synths or electronica, all sounds are manipulated field recordings, classic instruments, gongs and found objects. Some of the tracks are recorded completely live (especially the longer gong tracks on location), others are seperately recorded sounds, cut and pasted afterwards. The main purpose is to combine/cut and paste sounds the way Brion Gysin did it with words.

Ik maak geen gebruik van synthesizers, alle "muziek" bestaat uit (gemanipuleerde)field recordings en opgenomen geluiden met diverse types microfonen (meestal Piëzo contactmicrofonen, een Tascam Recorder en pick-up coils). Dit is een persoonlijke interpretatie/verderzetting van de cut-up techniek van Brion Gysin, dewelke ik wil verder trekken in zowel muziek, poëzie als field recordings.

Een tweede luik is het manipuleren van instrumenten met als voornaamste de gong

Bovendien is de bal rond, het is elf tegen elf en nog een hoop clichés.
