pretty good patches and programming... Nice piece!

Gorgeous arrangement of sounds. I wish I sounded this nice with Zebra hehe :)

3ee sent me his recent soundpack for Zebra, so I decided to have a little jam with them. This is all made of presets from his Battery Leak soundset, apart from the drums, which are from his Level 3-E chiptune soundset, both for Zebra. They're mostly raw, with a bit of chorus, delay, rhythmic gate and master buss compression, and the sounds are unedited. The final mix was edited in Cool Edit Pro to add a few flourishes here and there.

Overall, I find it a bit strange using other people's presets, so this was an interesting exercise.  I quite like the groove I got going here and I might expand the track in an acid direction with a remix. The Battery Leak soundset is full of bright, raspy and juicy DCO-style presets, all based on a unique set of wavetables emulating phase-locked layered oscillators with a bit of a digital character. His chiptune pack also comes recommended - if I didn't make my own sounds, I'd be all over his presets* ;) He's particularly good at nailing the classic sound effects of the NES.

* - note: There was a time when I did use mostly presets, so I have a good memory of what it's like to find a rich vein of good ones, lol.
