this is it! this is the big one. i've been working on this on and off since 2013. i was 16 when i started this album. i was a completely different person but in many ways, especially artistically, i was the same. worse at some things and better at others but. still just an emo dweeb writing synth solos over major chords. 

i began promoting this album under the vague title "my magnum opus" in 2015 or 2016 and a lot of my following has rotated out since then but im sure a lot of people will be familiar with some of these tracks. they feel a lot different to listen to when theyre all in a row, it is very much greater than the sum of its parts. the story bliss tells is a long one but every piece was necessary i think. im trying not to get too emotional writing this but. this record means a lot to me. it will be a long time before a record means as much to me as this one. 

by pre-ordering you get the three singles as well as the opening track. a little taster EP almost, and then a download link will be in your inbox the moment it comes out. nifty. CDs and cassettes will be coming soon also, so be on the lookout! i worked really hard on the designs and theyre going to be super pretty.

Part of DESKPOP since 2017, dynastic has grown immensely. Their debut helped coin the signature post-chiptune IDM sound the label is known for, with hits like “eefreef” and “Space Zone (ft. Braz_OS).” In 2018, they experimented under a temporary moniker “cola cap” making pop-punk with a vocal debut. Quite the pivot in that moment but truly ahead of its time, combining VGM sfx with guitars and a sad-boy demeanor. Now, dynastic returns with an even more refined blend of those two styles on the “</3” EP (you can pronounce it out loud as “heartbreak” if that’s easier). You’ll hear bubbly sounds reminiscent of the SPACE/SUMMER EP juxtaposed with a sweet guitar riff here and there, plus some well rehearsed vocals.
