Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

People came by the cafe without being rude to see the girl because they had been the only foreigners in the village and had been there now nearly three weeks and she was a great beauty and they liked her. No decent girls had ever had their hair cut short like that in this part of the country and even in Paris it was rare and strange and could be beautiful or could be very bad. It could mean too much or it could only mean showing the beautiful shape of a head that could never be shown as well. Mozes Meijer left his northern home and run south of the border. Step into the world of Mia Kober, a New Zealand-based music curator renowned for her ability to craft silky sounds, soulful basslines, and curate immersive experiences. Mia stands as an integral pillar of the vibrant music community in NZ, leaving her mark on festivals like Shipwrecked, Splore, Ponderosa, Rhythm & Alps and many more.

Her mission to encourage immersive experience flows beyond performance into her work as a driving force in the festival and event community. She is also a founding member of Silk Collective, a mentorship platform for aspiring DJ’s and upcoming talent.

Not defined by genre but with an intuitive feel for what the audience needs, peak time or ambient Mia’s sets are all about the feeling. Mia’s music is an eclectic display of deep grooves soaking in soul, sonic atmospheres, slinging chunky selections, and emotive electronica, all woven with a sprinkling of surprises.

Journeys are never linear. Mia follows many bends in the road, forming tantalising tales to move you and groove to. Take a deep breath and enjoy the ride.

JC, es un reconocido videocreador y dj de las Rias Baixas. Comenzo a pinchar hace diez años en el Bolboreta Club, local da ciudad de Pontevedra en el que se mantuvo varios anos como dj de referencia. Desde entonces ha pinchado en diversos locales, como el Underground en O Grove, Blend en A Coruña ou o Real 10 en Pontevedra. Ademas, ha participado en eventos como el Boa Vila Pride (fiesta organizada por el Concello de Pontevedra para celebrar o Día do Orgullo Gay), o Zero Rock o el ya célebre After Party del festival Cultura Quente en Caldas. A lo largo de este tiempo JC supo adaptar sus sesiones a nuevos horarios, ofreciendo sesiones vermú o sesiones de tarde en diversas ciudades. Su trabajo non es una cuestión de estilo, si no una cuestión de sensaciones, e viene definido por la luminosidad, e un aura agradable que invita al movemiento. 

JC traslada su pasión por música a su labor como director creativo y realizador de el Espejo Mágico Producciones, una empresa dedicada principalmente al eje audiovisual, donde la música que acompaña a las imágenes es parte fundamental y referencial de su trabajo.
