They sat there in the cafe and watched the reflection of the setting sun over the water and watched the dusk come to the town and they drank the fine a l'eau. People came by the cafe without being rude to see the girl because they had been the only foreigners in the village and had been there now nearly three weeks and she was a great beauty and they liked her. Then there had been the big fish today, and ordinarily there would have been much talk about that but this other was a big thing in the village too. No decent girls had ever had their hair cut short like that in this part of the country and even in Paris it was rare and strange and could be beautiful or could be very bad. It could mean too much or it could only mean showing the beautiful shape of a head that could never be shown as well. Mozes Meijer left his northern home and run south of the border. This is his first offering for Shango Records. This track will throw some beauty in your holiday. GATS, Hypsidia, Guy Maayan and Goyanu are enjoying their with true elegance and style.

We Welcome.  appreciate and celebrate Jack Essek @ackssek with his beatiful remix for Ulsen - History.
 
I remember my grandma playing the organ at her church. I remember my uncle playing the electric guitar in his childhood room at my grandma's house. He is showing me different sounds on his new effects board – distortion, delay, reverb. I remember grandma playing birthday songs on her piano downstairs. I remember my aunt, my uncles, and my mum writing and recording a song for grandma's 60th birthday. I remember my mum buying a piano. I remember my brother and I pretending to be a rock band. I remember my parents' record player and listening to 80s hit singles. I remember signals turning to white noise on the car radio as we drive. I remember my cassette recorder, pressing record and fast forward at the same time, and then listening to my own voice sounding way deeper and slower. I remember unintentionally creating a feedback loop with a guitar amplifier for the first time.

"Heritage" was created shortly after visiting grandma when she was playing the organ at her church. My intention was to create a similar feeling as the one I had when I heard her play, which brought back all these memories.

"History" is based on a feedback loop I accidentally recorded with one of my bands years ago.

Looking back I realize that the presence of music has always given me a feeling of belonging, stability, and hope. May you too find comfort in these warm, soothing sounds.
