Music is for the ears like paintings are for the eyes.
Something abstract, not necessarily pretty, but hopefully moving.
I try to combine music from different cultures and backgrounds to create something new.
The emphasis is on electronic instruments, since they have the biggest variety of possible sounds, but in most tracks there is at least one acoustic instrument that I played myself and recorded manually; acoustic piano, guitar, melodica, bass, keyboards.
Nothing surpasses the beauty of acoustic instruments, it's just that I can't play most of them :-)

JOYHILL is a 30-year-old producer, located in Naaldwijk, the Netherlands. JOYHILL was always into music since youth, beginning on the drums in music classes, but discovered the art of producing at a later age. Helped by the pandemic in early 2020, JOYHILL spent a lot of time perfecting his craft (and still is)

Improvisation is the connection with here and now, it's a way to catch collective feeling and ride in...
