This Burn, my 4th, hit different. Thank you so much to Toxic Disco Clam for welcoming me and my crew with open arms. After they hosted a dope Afrobeats happy hour, I hopped on the decks and offered a little gift. I hope you all enjoy it. It's a beautiful mix of Deep and Afro House.

One of my favorite DJ sets at the Burn this year was on top of the Disco Space Shuttle art car on Thursday night from 11pm to 2 am. It was an incredible cosmic ride into Deep Playa. 

The soil condition was so bumpy that it created an unforgiving DJ desk surface to those of us who prefer not to play with the Sync button on. I could had gone that way but I decided to let the challenge seep through the mixes and allow for the experience to be recorded as raw and human as possible, full of flaws and the highlighted reality that the playa surface was still wrecked from the previous year's Renegade Burn, and a lack of rain on the playa which did not allow for the lake to form for as long as it normally does between Burns. The earth climate is changing, and the heat at the Burn this year was present for most of the 24hrs of each day. 

I hope you enjoy this eventful ride into Burning Man outer-space!

“As the Temple was burning, fire tornadoes spiraled up into the new moon sky. The dust storm grew stronger and stronger. Walking through what felt like a parallel dimension, the mystical deer appeared.

I feel honored to have soundtracked this sacred moment on my favorite art car, the Maxa Xaman. This set is dedicated to those who left something in the Temple and anyone currently moving through grief. May we trust the process, feel what we need to feel, and rise from the ashes with love and courage.

Special thanks to the Maxa & Mayan Warrior families for your trust, to everyone who joined this sonic dance, and to music, our timeless guide.

Big thanks to Flow Music for the opportunity to put together this 333 session. Creating this mix was a deep and personal journey for me, coinciding with the birth of my second child. I felt guided by a powerful force throughout the process of crafting and recording it, with a sense of magic and synchronicity lighting the way.

“To be the first artist on Monday night at Burning Man on the new Mayan Warrior Galaxyer is likely the biggest honor as DJ of 24 years. As a practicing Architect and touring DJ, the admiration I hold for the work Mayan Warrior weaves together to bring the highest level of design, sound, lighting and music, in the form of an “artcar” is endless. 
Having not seen the new design of the Mayan Warrior art car the night of my set, and being lost in the desert, trying to find it was an adventure that almost cost me missing my set. I had no idea what to look for. The only clue I could think about was lasers… but in the hectic sky of Black Rock City, the commanding, brightest vertical laser beam, connecting deep into the cosmos was my only clue. 

With less than 10 minutes until the beginning of my DJ set, and out of breath form vigorously riding my bike to arrive to the Galaxyer on time, there was no time to overthink it. I plugged into the systems, set the controls for the galaxy and let the music flow… Prepare for my cinematic & cosmic musical journey aboard the new Mayan Warrior Galaxyer; featuring tracks of mine which I wrote dreaming of playing them on this amazing creation, plus some old ones from 2001. Flying that spaceship was truly legendary. 

Eternal gratitude to the Mayan Warrior family (the entire crew and Amal, Pablo & Rodrigo), for having me be a part of the Galaxyer’s re-birth story, and all of you who were there on playa on this special night.”

On a beautiful Thursday afternoon on the playa , Sanctuary , Happy Campers and Gardens of Babylon created “ We are not Robots “ a circus of extraordinary humanoids under the magical dome of 1001 nights camp over on the back streets of 4:45 and J .
This Was truly a bonding labor of Love , we had a beautiful silken dome and the floors were cushioned by playground rubber matts which made everyone take off their shoes so they can jump and dance freely in front of the 50 .000 Watt Turbo Sound System calibrated by our legendary sound engineer .
That being said :
We have decided to release one of the most hauntingly beautiful sets that captured everyones soul at the event .Our 2 favorite Aliens  BRITTA / UNDERS were supposed to play 2 hours , we absolutely had to ask them to prolong the journey for a full 4 hour set which can be described as a "Dustyfairytale"  .They seamlessly poured eclectic sounds and vibrations that made us dancing fools think it was part of a Techno sound bath experiment ,They surpassed our wildest imagination and the crowd has never been so mesmerised by their energy and frequencies ever since.  After hearing the feedback of this magical set , it was our duty to release this as soon as the dust settled. 
We HOPE You enjoy this set as much as we all did . 
From the bottom of our GIANT Hearts , we thank everyone who was able to experience this magical day with us at Burning Man 2018.
