Independent Record label established in San Francisco in 1979.

Shortlegs wandered about for many years, with these stories and songs in her head not knowing where to start and not really sure where they had come from. She didn’t really write songs or record things.

In a make shift bedroom studio she fumbled with recording devices, wired a borrowed box of tricks, hassled her other half to shred some licks and randomly hit a keyboard found in a skip until patterns began to take shape. 

The result is a 10 track CD of songs recorded at home in Scotland. 

This first album of songs has been released as a limited edition run of 100. Covers have been screenprinted along with poster, with CD & DVD of music videos (one for each track by various artists & friends).  Available to buy from website now.



Carton Sonore started in 2008 making acoustic pieces composed and recorded at the same time, in one or two hours. Since then it evolved in many directions, exploring different ideas: pop songs, instrumental playful pieces, noise symphonies, random music, etc. To be short, Carton Sonore makes music.
