Haana Peony (she/her) creates diverse indie-dance soundscapes with a clear message: music is political. She uses her sets to raise awareness, foster equality and open conversations—especially around menstruation. As part of the collectives FEMQUENCY and PLANET DISBLUTHEK, she combines her skills as a teacher and DJ to promote empowerment, self-determination, and visibility. For her, music is more than entertainment—it’s a tool for change. Haana is booked not just for her music, but for her clear political stance.

Sinchi Collective is a multifaceted music platform. Including a label, event promoter, mix/edit series and blog (which showcases our favourite soon to be released music). 

The label launched in January 2019 and has featured a combination of singles and compilation releases with artists such as Sascha Funke, Curses, TAPAN, Damon Jee, Biesmans, Khidja, Anatolian Weapons, and Tolouse Low Trax, to name a few and its objective is to promote positive social change and raise funds for our Sinchi Foundation, which supports Indigenous forest guardians in the Brazilian Amazon. Stichting Sinchi is a non-profit organization (ANBI Status and CBF accredited) . In 2023, we also launched Treesistance to showcase the impact of our work in the Amazon. You can read more about all our activities at www.treesistance.com
