i had this song posted on my alt for a little while, but it was just the piano, and it was half as long. something stuck out about this one so i thought i'd revisit it. the second half of the song is for floating.

The core inspiration behind "Splintered Body" stems from the invasiveness that pain can inflict on one's life, my own included. I tried to reflect this feeling through the glitchy textures and skipping beats featured throughout the song as well as the darker atmosphere. I hope it can connect with you all, and if not, I hope you can at least find some enjoyment in it!

Thanks so much to @wearenova for putting this event on! This has been a style I've loved for a long time and this let me finally get my feet wet making garage! Looking forward to doing more in this style in the future!
