Some Words about Ana Antonova:
Antonova's DJing was and still is special and reliable, that's why she had numerous gigs
across the country and further.
Other than that, one of significant details of her DJing career is that she started another
series of events that hold place at Club Tunel, Rijeka which howls for everyone and
anyone that has a sweet tooth for music - Caramel, through which she dedicates the night
to various genres - e.g. nu soul, jazz house - that shaped her style from earlier days 'til
today.
Her contemporary and evergrowing style has led to her applying her passion to lots of
collaborations, most of them being linked to Marina Karamarko with whom she organises
Solis Ocassum, an event that focuses on Sundays and their afternoon party potential.
Lately Ana Antonova has had her hands full, from her first EP , "Habay" being signed with
Conceptual records which got released on February 2019. to Antonova and Karamarko
collaborating once again through production; editing Billie Eilish's song "Bury a friend"
which once more proved that she can easily play on both terrains: underground and
commercial, while being and staying an enjoyable part of Croatia's club culture.
Her latest release is a wonderful groovy, minimal track "Poccito", which she plays also in this set, and which was just released on the compilation "Terra Lights" on Form & Terra Records. The compilation is available now on beatport, itunes and juno (please see the links above).

Kino Agency Advent Podcast 2022 #02 - Bad Girls Go Everywhere

That Holland is not only known for hardcore and bigroom trance quickly became clear in the noughties of the new millennium, when a new generation of producers around the labels Intacto, Remote Area/Area Remote shot new minimalist house and techno onto the dancefloors.
The new Sound of Amsterdam was born. With the new EP on Sirion Records we welcome David Labeij again.

Hollow Nights
The title track Hollow Nights with its acid bassline, a subliminal drum pattern, synths and percussion drips along comfortably and hypnotically. The listener is offered wobbling sound structures, spherical realms and travel back and forth.
Nhoj Smada's remix focuses on a percussive and broken foundation. The beautifully resonating 303 bassline paired with the hypnotic synth elements, pushes the journey of the original a bit more.

Vintage la Beige
Vintage la beige is a dancefloor oriented, but equally hypnotic track to kick off a long, long club night.
Mike Machine puts his own stamp on the original with a dubby, hypnotic touch, revealing that a true connoisseur was at work.
The second remix was penned by Frieda's Büxe residents Valentino and Henry Sure. Minimal in the basic structure, deliberately peppered with synth elements and effects, the two are very close to the original new Sound of Amsterdam of the noughties.

Iconic
The dubby tune Iconic with resonating, hypnotic synths, vocal splitter and playful bassline seems very frisky and always interesting due to the unconventionally used percussive elements.
Balance pulls a beautifully drawn-out bassline out of the hat with his remix, which allows only few little breathers by the occasional breaks and could run on endlessly.

Vonk
The track Vonk, which rounds off the EP, grooves skillfully in the lower frequency range. The synth bass "Vonk" playful and dark and kicks the dancers wonderfully through a room interspersed with smoke and light effects.

Sounds that create a beautiful roundness and asking your mind in the same time to sail in drifting places - imagining shared spaces of tripping bodys in evidently touch with „super freaky“ warmness.
da:sypoda, means to become pluralty in frequency - new born armadillos - sampling her belts from warm beginnings out of disco and deep house, but now presenting her second sides: in creatively weirdness she pushes from ground rolling deep house to ac[c]idently experimental sounds like Mari Herzer dipping in to breakbeated dub-tec-house, dreaming of kol[a]ter[al] mood switches that bring you heads directly in juicy, tickling poses. She queers her Sets with hitting ballroom bangers and upbeating dembow strolls. She glitches the spectral of electronic music, right from 90 to 150BPM.
You think that doesn’t fit? Come, let’s get a sip - this may come in exravangant legacy and is not too shy to celebrate that: like some sort of feminist voicing - to create sounds that matter.

da_sypoda is with collab. partner in crime @domwaits part of the host of „TBD“ 
at Schick, each first saturday of the month. Inviting friends from near and far to bartend you’re eras with smooth and groovy sounds in a living room atmosphere. She is part of the ensemble Heykompost which are footing their critical discourses in feminist perspectives through „critical mass“, how work can be seen and located in rural spaces and what we need for a sustainable future.

The book "Sonic warfare. Sound, Affect, and the Ecology of Fear" by Steve Goodman defines "sonic warfare" as the deployment of sound systems in the modulation of affect, from sensations to moods to movement behaviors. On the other hand, sonic warfare is, well, the warfare fought using sonic and ultrasonic weapons. The word 'sonic', in turn, derives from the word 'sonus' which means “noise, sound” or “tone, character, style,” and which is also the source of the word 'sound'. Sonus, meanwhile, comes from the Latin verb 'sonō' which means “make a noise,sound”. Simple as that. Or as the music of @skinnerbox

"The world is changing, and we are experiencing a new normal.
This year has been full of uncertainties, ups and downs for that have been mentally taxing for many people, ourselves included.
We have always found music to be a form of therapy, something that helps us work through emotions that we cannot always find the words to express.
For this set we wanted to reflect on this year and create a musical arc that mirrors the ups and downs that we have all been going through, it is sometimes softer, sometimes more impactful, a progression of our energy.
Our set has been created with music that comes from our heart, that moves us and has brought us joy, we really hope that you feel a connection and joy from it too. It was a real pleasure to prepare this set, we had the vision for Flow in mind throughout creating it whilst sharing music that we have connected with and represents us, so we hope you enjoy it.

333 Sessions 002 - The Fields

Sirion Records is a Swiss music label based in Berne and Zurich, founded in 2004.
To start with Sirion primarily and continuously created DJ mixes and presented them on local radio stations as well as on international internet radio stations to the greater music community. Among others, their program "The Trip" on the American online radio "Frisky Radio" (www.friskyradio.com), which has been aired monthly well over a hundred times. 
In the hometown of Berne Sirion has been regularly organizing parties since 2004, where congenials come together to celebrate music. 

The focus has been increasingly aimed on the ultimate goal: publishing music on the label Sirion Records. Since Spring 2007, numerous digital releases have found their way into the electronic music world. Sirion can list wide interest and a benevolent recognition by now. The growing awareness benefits both the label as well as the artists who publish on Sirion. The basic idea of a local platform brings with it the claim to be able to provide a strong base. Promoting local artists and connecting them with internationally renowned artists, always leads to exciting projects.

Since Fall 2009 Sirions publications resp SR020 are partially available as tangible records. Despite the hard times for the industry, the risky step was taken and music got pressed on vinyl. Expressing the love for the vinyl record and as appreciation of emerging music.
With the project of SR030 Kellerkind "Disco On The Dancefloor" in the spring of 2012, the first complete album including CD and video production was published. This project is without question an important milestone in the history of Sirion because there has never been a more intense or more successful one before.

In addition to publications Sirion operates their FM and online radio show "The Trip" and regularly hosts successful party events in the area of  Berne.
Their platform allows local music creators to connect with international musicians, challenges and encourages their creativity and leads all in a lively debate into a marketable product. The publication and marketing of these products has already born many fruits and added to new horizons.
Since the year 2013, a further step in the music industry is done, Sirion Records now also acts as publishing company under the name Noiris publishing.
