Welcome to the second episode of Dyplytt.

The second episode is called "One-Spring Revolution" and is inspired by the natural farmer called Masanobu Fukuoka (Check out the mini-documentary about him and his life--philosophy as a farmer, Link below). 
It is finally spring (at least in my area of the world!) and everything is blossoming, both plants and humans, the light is radiating around us once again, so the timing for making a mix inspired by spring felt natural. As I wrote above, the title is inspired by the philosophy of natural farming, which is focusing on learning from nature, rather than controlling and maintaining our own needs on behalf of nature. Fukuoka said "How about not doing this, and not doing that. There is no need for us to put extra labour in our own hands, when nature already has the solutions to help us in this world". That is a way of thinking I tried to incorporate in this mix, to don´t be to focused on controlling the transitions or vibes, just let the flow take care of the happenings, sit back and watch mother nature do her magic! I personally got very satisfied with the mix, so I hope you will be that too.

The artwork is made by my good friend @asbjornkorntorp , he gave my exactly what I wanted. Snøklokker, hakkespett, sol og fugler som ettervender til vår og lysere tider.

The set you put on suddenly brings you out of rhythm, but getting up to skip the track is no longer an option.

We have been scouting for the perfect sunday morning sets for quite a while already and @Mattmosphere has been a steady supplier of them for us. So we asked him and his partner Adriana to record one hour of music together, to which they like to stay in bed with.

It's an intimate ask, but they said yes and this beauty of a set is the result. 

Mattmosphere selected half the tracks and adriana aka @amapola-sounds selected the other half and sang her own beautiful lyrics ( see below), their good friend @morgen_musik recorded them and the result is something magical:

I thought this place was sterile and yet there is a piece of fluff lying defiantly on the microscope.

Might as well have a deep look at it before I dust it off. There isn’t anything else to do right now anyway. Switch on the illuminator, adjust the lens, take a breath and then go for it. 

What the….?

That’s no ordinary fluff. So much is going on there... A whole civilization is living on it!
With buildings and roads and parks. Whole cities filled with tiny little people. Amazing! 

After about an hour of exploring their world it seems like they are way farther evolved than we are. Everything looks harmonic and calm and peaceful. There are no ruins. No mobs. No sign of destruction or chaos anywhere. How ironic! 
But more important: How many of these tiny planets end up in dust bags all day?

Wait a minute! 

Does that mean we also could be living on a piece of fluff inside of a giant vacuum? 
And all those other planets, those without signs of life… They could easily just be dried up bread crumbs or random pieces of dirt. 

So why can’t we all live in harmony?

So this is how this century's roaring 20s start.

A virus is keeping the whole world in check. Daily life is restricted to the bare minimum, nightlife doesn't happen at all. The rich become even richer and more people than ever become poor because of losing their source of income. On this note: Millions of artists, musicians, DJs and others alike are not only unable to do their jobs, but also have to find new ways of expressing themselves.

With UNWANTED, Drosssel's podcast host Bollek is giving some of them a stage to reflect upon their life in lockdown and speak for the greater whole, that's left unheard and feels unwanted in these times, when it's actually the virus that nobody wants.
