The Boats are a post-rock trio based in Melbourne, Australia, consisting of Nick Conolly, Jonathan Byron and Paul Guseli. The band are often reminiscent of experimental and psychedelic acts of the early 1970s, such as Pink Floyd, and Jefferson Airplane, and yet have carved out their own contemporary sound by fusing together rock elements with jazz and punk inspired flare, synth drones, sizzling guitars, and thundering, chasing rhythms.

Donncha Walsh is destitute, an Irish musician, dj, producer and sound system operator. Producing music in a variety of styles from deep dub techno and ambient electronica to speaker shaking dubplate specials.

Welfare was also part of the production duo SubVersus, along with fellow bass music producer Shatterfreak - He was a long term member of Ireland's long running Dubstep and Bass music crew and record label, DubCulture. Welfare was also the man behind the Jungle Boogie! collective a nationwide old school Jungle crew , as well as the promoter at Get Boogie! Galway.
He hosted a weekly radio show on Raidio na Life in Dublin called the Welfare Clinic.hosting countless guests from the Dubstep,Jungle,IDM and hardcore scenes -
He was also a founding member in 2007 of Electronic Resistance,a sound system collective of anarchist and radical leftist DJs,producers and event organisers.
