"When I pressed record on this mix, I knew I wanted people to dance and get their bodies moving. ARCHETYPE x CHIMERA is smooth at parts and charmingly abrasive at others, incorporating new and old in an exhilarating, yet soothing fashion. Something I like to focus on is blending music of different genres, backgrounds, and textures to keep you on your toes. What’s important to me is that the pieces feel familiar enough so that everyone can shake their ass and feel included; but with an unfamiliar twist. Mixes should feel personal to the listener, but completely  novice too. One of my favorite parts about being a DJ is being able to introduce people to new sounds and of course reimagining some sounds you’ve already heard & love."    -CHIMERA
