Another superb work S! I love it espcially that you were able to make such variety from just one sound source, varieties of textures, depths and transitions.

Truly impressive how you've created such a diverse sound world from one sound source - a style of electroacoustics I can only dream of creating!

"Usul: Aksak Routine"  is an algorithmic  performance of electroacoustic music based on the rythmic system Usul of Turkish music. The term usul, which includes both the concepts of meter (measure) and rhythm, defines the rhythmic elements of all the structured musical pieces of the system. Every usul is a recurrent rhythmic circle – something similar of meter in western music – a model with a name and a pattern. The usuls are performed in beats, known in Turkish as "darp". Also the usuls are named according to the length and form of their beats and they are divided into two main groups, Minor usuls and Major usuls. The minors are those of 2 to 15 beats. The majors are those containing from 16 to 124 beats. The goal of this project is the use of minor usuls to create diffrent major usuls in real time.
The current multichannel (4ch to 8ch) piece consists of 6 sound sources. Each one of them returns a different minor usul, with samples created using the physical modeling software Genesis and SuperCollider. Every darp (beat) produced with graining effects in SuperCollider.  The rhythmic patterns and the sound spatialization are generated with original programs and routines, written also in SuperCollider. For controller in performance I am using a multitouch OSC controller.

The Fall was begun during a residency at STEIM in Amsterdam in December 2011 / January 2012. I made many hours of recordings in and around the city of Amsterdam, with the intention of creating this large scale work.

Elements of the work were incorporated into Residual bits of sunlight, by Andersson Dance in Stockholm. 

The first movement of this work, Too Late, Too Far, was premiered at the International Summer Course for New Music Darmstadt in August 2014.

Himlen Var was created with the support of EMS (Elektronmusikstudion) during three residency periods from 2013-2015. 

Himlen Var is based upon field-recordings made in the city of Stockholm and the outer Stockholm archipelago (particularly Blidö and Sandhamm), and the analogue synthesizers housed at Ems.

Public Bodies explores the theme of voyeurism, both intentional and accidental. We are private bodies caught in the public gaze, we see things that we would rather not, we are simultaneously hungry for attention and yet crave privacy: we are always seen and yet never watched. 
Public Bodies is a work in three movements. Sonically, the main musical discourse is between the following elements: a human voice (which represents the Self or Inner), the sounds of the city (which represents the Other or Outer) and harmonic and rhythmic material derived from the two.

Sleeping On Lotus Ashes is an experimental audio laboratory amalgamating all sort of unorthodox synthesis & resynthesis techniques to explore the sonic possibilities of sound morphing, manipulated field recordings, sound collages and aggregates of deep transformed sounds.
