All material - cut, altered, mixed at will - comes from a nocturnal solo improvisation with fretless acoustic bass guitar with piezo pickup, effect pedals (Carcosa - Dark Star - Obscura), non synchronized loops, three amps. Recorded in the room with Zoom H2n, edited in Audacity. All sounds made with the instrument. All sounds, mixing and production: Velvet Something Superdark.

This piece began with the sound. When I received the Strymon NightSky, I plugged my fretless bass into it and immediately fell in love with the sound - so musical, soft, and buttery smooth it was. And then it naturally grew into what can probably be called "lounge" or "easy listening". Very foreign genre to me, but what can I do if this piece wanted to be this way? The most serene bit of music I've composed in my life so far.
