Heute freut es mich besonders euch einen jungen Künstler aus dem hohen Norden zu präsentieren. Ein Mecklenburger Junge mit Hang zur Küste - Ostsee, Usedom, Sonneninsel. Ihr kennt das Spiel.

Seit ein paar Jahren ist Pay Kusten auf dem Meeresrausch beheimatet und veröffentlichte erste Tracks auf Sumpfsee Records und Respoal Schallware. Seitdem machte er sich auf, das Tanzen zu lehren. Er mag es mal bummeliger, mal hurtiger, mal süß und mal saftig, aber immer mit Herz.

Ohne schon vor 20 Jahren die ersten Platten gemischt zu haben, aber mit viel Liebe für den Groove, serviert der mittlerweile Hamburger verschiedene Perlen des elektronischen Buffets. Setzt euch hin oder tanzt ruhig.

Mich hat Paul vor ca. einem Jahr mal angeschrieben wann es denn mal wieder so ein Bummel-Techno Playlist gibt … weil die andere hat er jetzt schon mehrmals durchgehört. Seitdem sind wir im regen Kontakt und ich schätze gerade seinen Bummel-Techno-Sound sehr weil er es genau auf den Punkt bringt und das ist bei der Disziplin wirklich nicht einfach.

Vielen Dank Paul für diese super schön verspielten 1,5 Stunden … und euch da Draußen viel Spaß beim Bummeln ;-)

 The reality of this opportunity did not set in until I was finally up on the decks getting ready to hit the play button… 

After struggling for a few years to obtain my US visa, sharing this moment with the White Ocean family on the first night of my first Burn was surreal.

This is my small, yet very meaningful contribution to the stage I’ve always loved and admired. The memories of that night will be forever in my heart. I still dream of that beautiful crowd, and the energy of that night.

Fulltime communication advisor, nature-photography lover, yoga teacher, dj and now she's unleashing the potential of musical production. Quoting her: "(music) Make us feel more in balance with our selves." She's always trying to make her thoughts and feelings audible.

Since is very dark where she lives - only like a couple of hours with sun each day, this 67th edition is a possibility to confront the metaphorical darkness.
