Paris is burning! And Eliott Litrowski lit the match with his latest EP for OOSSHA. The producer from France once saw the light in the famous Rex club in Paris but has a profound love for Dutch underground dance music. He previously released singles on Moustache and Bordello a Parigi and now debuts on Utrecht based SoHaSo sublabel OOSSHA.

On his Long Story Short EP, Litrowski combines the boldness of Dutch west coast electro with the flair and finesse of French techno, while throwing in a hint of sweet flavoured Italo vibes. A good example is Blind Pilot, which is both frivolous and funky.

Or jump the needle to Cereal Funk, where the dry hi-hats and wild arpeggio’s give more than a nod to Dopplereffekt, while staying in fourth gear. No wonder the track gets a remix treatment by Ed DMX, who turns Cereal Funk into a proper electro monster without losing the core futuristic elements. Long story short, Litrowski’s music is both playful, quirky and tailor made for clubs.

LA’s Warehouse Preservation Society cue up a suitably low slung and sophisticated release for Dave Harvey’s well established Futureboogie imprint. Dave Aju (Circus Company/Mule Musiq) completes the release with a proper tasty remix.

Comprising Travis ‘TK’ Kirschbaum & Tavish Graham, Warehouse Preservation Society have released cuts on Rogue Cat Records and Machine Limited, worked with such esteemed artists as Daniele Baldelli & DJ Rocca, Newborn JR, DJ Garth & Anthony Mansfield, and Paramida’s Love On The Rocks label as well as landing a spot on DJ Harvey's "The Sound Of Mercury Rising Vol II" Pikes compilation.

Heady nights spent gyrating under flashing lights to pulsing rhythms, writhing freely as the sweat forced your hair to stick firmly to your forehead. These were all but memories now; the distant dream of clubland was a blur, a nostalgic trip that circled the mind but couldn't touch down in reality. But their imaginations kept them going until that first dance back because it would be one to remember for years to come.

After a brief intermission from releasing records to share Ece Özel's 'Expansion of Change' mix cassette into the world, Berlin's Warning are heating things up again with a new VA bringing together established and mysterious producers, forming the "North Rhine-Westphalia Trance Alliance". That probably gives you a clue to the rave-imbued sonics you can expect across the release, with trance, tribal, breakbeat and electro cuts from Phaser Boys, Chaos Milieu, DJ-Ungel and Zonza Grind — heed the label's warning (pun intended): they are "not responsible for any fire damage in your ear canals".

For its eighth release Griffé welcomes Rambal Cochet aka Volta Cab. The prolific electronic producer has been on the circuit for more than ten years and has explored a wide musical spectrum: from house to techno and new wave to electro. More recently his productions have taken a more progressive & trancey turn. On "Unknown Pharmacy" the producer is blending some trancey dancefloor weapons (Pharmacom & Muscle Fields) with crazy breaks (Autismo1) and a downtempo track (Underworld) to close the record in a calmer note. Maruwa bows at the altar of ‘90s prog house and IDM. Classically trained as a pianist, the St. Petersburg born Frankfurt based artist has made it her mission to join the dots between big room rave and a decidedly off-planet approach to melody. Now, making a debut for X-Kalay, that journey continues…

‘Liquid Night’ genuinely sounds like something you might have heard during Love Parade’s golden era. Meshing noirish sci-fi atmosphere with trance synths and EBM flex, the shadowy territory it occupies also carries through to A2’s ‘Midnight Caller’. That said, the followup cut evokes an essence of ‘90s dancefloor utopia, balancing euphoric melodrama with tough, propulsive NRG.

Taking inspiration from mid-‘90s acid prog, ‘Tricky Question’ summons the divine wide-eyed and sublime – less urgent, but still imbued with that '90s halcyon daze. Rudolf C then rounds things off with a fathoms-deep remix. Ushering ’Tricky Question’ into that techy space he navigates so well, the Salt Mines co-founder provides his own spin without losing the essence of the original.

The alarm clock buzzed loudly for the fifth time, as usual the snooze button had been exhausted for as long as she could get away with it. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes, squinting in the morning light that bathed her room. A familiar feeling of dread washed over her; one that didn’t seem to hit her on any other day of the week. The start of the week was always like this - uneventful and unproductive, a time for wallowing and indulging… all in all, just another average Monday.

Helsinki imprint Echocentric and Leipzig’s R.A.N.D. are joining forces for their next release, a dose of rhythmic proggy goodness from Lithuania-based producer Pletnev. Both labels know their onions - between them they’ve put out plenty of dance floor gems over the last few years from the likes of Abdul Raeva, DJ Life, Reflex Blue and Gnork. With And You Never Come Back, it’s more of the same: over four tracks Pletnev serves up squelchy, hypnotic breaks and trance-inspired rhythms, all primed and ready to bless club sound systems the world over.

Welcoming, 'Come Together' - a five track various artists EP drawn from our network of associates locally and internationally. With artists hailing from Japan, Italy, the USA and Australia the 12" features the sounds that bring our families together on dance floors around the globe.

Italy's Matisa opens the record with a designer italo-house trip "Garbadine", armed with punchy drums, a warped guitar loop and hypnotic bass line. Melbourne group Polito's "Wallis Axiom" juxtaposes this with a guttural, gurgling outsider-techno piece. Frenetic percs and crunchy distortion collide with alien FX and bleepy modular synthesis for a dark journey.

On the flip, New York City master producer Physical Therapy jumps into the deep end with "10000% Pure Love", a raw, hard hitting club weapon. The Allergy Season boss distils the pure, unbridled energy of a sweaty dance floor through a woozy bassline and manic cowbell action.

Slowing the pace slightly, Berlin via Japan producer Yuzo Iwata delivers "Acid House" a rugged, growling beast which trips and chugs along as a monstrous 303 weaves in an out of the penetrating vocals "ACID HOUSE". The mysterious Serpent finishes you off with "In The Garden" a syncopated drum workout imbued with a ritualist, primitive energy by the heavily layered percussion and flickering synths.
