There's a story to this month's podcast, mixed by taste-making Utrecht DJ and Rhythmic Culture mainstay https://soundcloud.com/akaaskmelater. It goes something like this: Back in March last year, just as clubs were reopening, Askmelater (aka Toine) was invited to play Utrecht's infamous WAS. club night. But unfortunately, they caught covid and were unable to make the date (most of us can relate). Stuck at home, Toine channelled both their fever dreams and their frustration at missing out on a good gig in an excellent set of moody breaks and trippy electronica. Almost a year after reopening, this mix is a welcome reminder of what a joy it is to be back on the dancefloor. And with Askmelater at the helm, you know you're in for something special.
