Starting off with Inspection Chamber, Maccari's sound is centered around driving rhythms and rolling basslines with edgy synth stabs layered on top, setting the tone for the rest of the e.p. Next up, ogtrues ups the tempo and delivers a deeper and minimal rendition of Inspection Chamber. Moving to the title track, The Looming Crisis, which uses a captivating vocal hook over funkier tones, making it perfect dancefloor material.
