Facing this actual horrible situation in Ukraine everyone should be encouraged to think about how to help. But also think about war and fights in general. Why is this still happening worldwide? Why does mankind not grow on the challenge of love and humanity, why are we still acting like centuries before? That's why we've decided to fund something that means future to us. Building societies without any discrimination about culture, ancestry, colour, gender, sex and everything that makes us humans so divers.
Therefor we want to split the income between Kiyv Pride and personal friends who stayed in their hometown to help. They are really struggling to make ends meet during those hard times and asked for direct help.
We want to keep this help as transparent as possible, if you've got any questions regarding the usage of the money, don't hesitate to write us.

Exactly one year after his 2021 release entitled 'The Electro Manifesto', DVS NME returns with a collection of new tracks that were produced between late 2021 and early 2022. This 25-track album is another thematic nod to class struggle with the hope to stir class consciousness in listeners. Every song title makes reference to some tenant of the destructive and unequal economic system called capitalism as well as its ever-looming shadow socialism. Even the album cover borrows inspiration from Soviet-era propaganda, re-adapting the artistic styles of many communist agitators.

This album, as with the last, relies heavily on the sounds of classic Electro machines like Mono/Poly, MS-20, SH-101, Jupiter-8, Juno-106, SH-2, System 100, Juno 60, JX-3P, TB-303, Polysix, TR-606, OB-8, TR-808, ARP Odyssey, as well as some contemporary additions to his studio like Hydrasynth, System 8, MC-101, Prophet Rev2, Novation Peak, Minilogue, SE-02, and Microkorg.

DVS NME is the man behind the weekly radio show/daily blog called 'Dark Science Electro' and has been a dedicated contributor to the Electro community for the last 11 years. For over a decade, Jason Amm’s work as Solvent has neatly defied categorization. His music is too sweetly melodic for techno or acid, his compositions too fiendishly detailed for synth-pop. He was too steeped in the sounds of the ‘80s to participate in the incipient IDM scene; he was briefly lumped in with the short-lived electroclash movement, only to outlive it; he’s played “minimal wave” parties and goth clubs, indie-rock shows and techno all-nighters. But even as words fail in the face of Solvent’s music, its pleasures are anything but elusive.

Today, Zimbabwe-born Jason Amm lives in Toronto, ON, where he spends his time obsessively grappling with an outsized collection of vintage analog synthesizers, samplers, and sequencers. Solvent first materialized in 1997 with a string of singles and full-lengths (1998’s Solvent, 1999’s Solvently One Listens) on Amm’s own Suction Records, the Toronto-based label he founded with Lowfish’s Gregory DeRocher. The watershed release Solvent City (2001) on Berlin-based Morr Music introduced Amm’s sound to a wider audience, and Apples &amp; Synthesizers (2004) marked Solvent’s move to Ghostly International. Along with notable remixes of artists including Soft Cell, Alter Ego, and Adult., Solvent tracks have appeared on high-profile DJ mixes and seminal compilations.

Solvent’s most recent record on Ghostly International, 2010?s Subject to Shift, marks a turn for the darker as Amm embraces his love of the abrasive sounds of acid and industrial. And while a sinister tone or two now dances among Solvent’s sparkling hooks and bright streaks of synthesizer, and while Amm’s music drifts even further from accepted genre-specific reference points, Solvent’s sound has only deepened. After more than ten years of composing love songs for robots, Amm sounds like nothing more than himself.
