Monoloc returns to Soma in the form of a special remix package that sees 2015’s ‘Gipson Ep’ reworked by Slam, Lucy and SHDW & Obscure Shape. Monoloc carefully selected his remixers to breath new life in to his fantastic debut release on Soma with superb results.

Soma label heads Slam turn in a brooding, menacing version of title track Gipson. Staying true to the original’s heavy and atmospheric vibe, the Glaswegian duo keep it stripped back and pounding. Stroboscopic Artefacts boss, Lucy steps up with his more experimental take on Cupel. The dubbed out atmospheres of the original take on a new life and Lucy leans hard on the electronics and delivers a broken beat, tweeked out trip. Relative newcomers SHDW & Obscure Shape round off the EP with a big, bold reinterpretation of Gipson. Thundering bass drums, hypnotic synths hooks and and an epic use of the original’s pad create a fairly ferocious end to the EP.

@keinkontrast is a project of passion out of love for the beat. The focus of his musical compositions is on a deep, hypnotic sound space, surrounded by a fascinating, experimentally created atmosphere that offers space for our mind. Like music and art, the love of nature is a common language that can overcome borders. In music but also in nature there are energies, frequencies, resonances and vibrations. This creates feelings that guide us, and quite individually. It is difficult to understand or put into words. It is a process of the subconscious. Through his mix, he wants to offer the opportunity to immerse yourself in a world in which you briefly lose space and time to be simple and briefly experience the feeling of lightheartedness.

Brünner, an electronic music enthusiast, began immersing himself in the scene in the early 2000s at the leading venues of the Pardubice Region. His expansive appreciation for electronic music was significantly shaped amidst the iconic Summer of Love festivals, where diverse styles of electronica left an indelible mark on his musical direction.

At the core of his musical passion lies techno, embracing its varied shapes and the distinct repetitive 'four on the floor beat' that defines the genre.

Based in Brno, he is a resident DJ at Fáze and the pul.pit club for Pulse events, and a member of the filtr collective.

His techno sets blend contemporary hypnotic, deep, and raw sounds.
