For this nineteenth EPICAST, we are thrilled to invite @st-ahler

Stahler aims to spread glitter dust through creating lofty and floating dark disco & indie dance sounds. Moving from Singapore to Berlin in 2014 Stahler discovered the decks in an escalated night of synthetic avocados and black chocolate forces. Shortly after he began playing fruity DJ sets at intimate events & house parties before he started to fill chunkie beat plates at bigger parties and events, ranging from art exhibitions to clubs and festival stages.

His melodic indie dance sets are appreciated for their danceable, yet wobbly and deep sounds infused with tasteful influences from the lively 80s, spicy Italo Disco and profound dark disco tunes, covering wide electronic frequency terrains. Since 2018, Sascha is producing music under his artist name Stahler and released various tracks until today ranging from deep house to indie dance.

Next on the show: space commander Tots aka @totsenuna, founder of @logiarecords & @hookupagency , part of @renuna duo with Cali Burton. Currently works as A&R at Controlla (Mx). Booker in Chula Puerto Escondido. Artist in J Records & also has a beach party called "NotSense" in Puerto Escondido, Mx . His productions, collaborations and remixes have been released on labels such as Controlla, Bonkers, Nuff, Veneno, Logia records, Emerald & Doreen, Espacio Cielo, among others. Through his sessions he tries to be disruptive, generating atmospheres to momentarily break the environment with hard and danceable sounds. Likewise, its dynamic sets, without being tied to a genre, although he have great influence on indie dance, today he sound is more versatile way. This last year he has been co-ed with great artists. Great artists have wanted to do B2b with him, 1 Local Suicide, 2 Alejandro Veneno, 3 Ximena de Alix x Ximena and also shared a booth with Adrian Marth, Teniente Castillo, Kate Stein, Javier Ferreira, Thomass Jackson, among others. He has performed and been a resident in all PE clubs (Chula, Mar & wanna, Casa Tortuga, ...) He has also played in Bar Oriente, Japan, Xakhali, Wild Sundays , Sincensaura festival & CHULA FEST.

Begun in 2018, Colapso is on a mission to reveal the hidden treasures of Italo Disco, Dark Disco, New Beat and EBM on the Parisian scene.

It was during his years (2020-2022) in Hamburg, Germany - the birthplace of the New Wave - that his project matured towards industrial punk sounds. Very active since 2022, Colapso has played gigs in solo, as well as with his other project "Apéro Italo" alongside his friends Zaratustra and IBLT.

With a consuming passion for the retro-funk synthesizers of Italo Disco, the captivating the captivating sounds of Dark Disco with rock and oriental accents, as well as the raw energy of Indie Dance with New Wave punk influences, Colapso brings body and soul to the dancefloor.

Inspired by renowned artists such as Curses, Jennifer Cardini, Franz Scala, Fabrizio Mammarella, Mufti and Theus Mago, Colapso mixes styles to create an atmosphere that's both italo and darkdiskian.


Description of the mix

Different from what he's used to playing, Colapso offers a downtempo mix of slow trance, ethno and slow ebm. The result is a tribal journey where time and space collapse. Enjoy!
