Synthetik Sounds is a brand-new techno record label, curated by 6AM Group, Synthetik Minds and Indonesian techno artist Ecilo.

Through their extensive work in the Los Angeles underground techno scene, 6AM Group and Synthetik Minds have cemented themselves as two of the most-respected techno brands on the global scale. By featuring a big selection of the world’s most sought-after techno artists alongside a roster of impressively talented home-grown acts, their WORK warehouse event series have become a meeting point for techno aficionados near and far. Further, both are partners at COMPOUND and RE/FORM, two of the West Coast’s largest techno event concepts, further underscoring their pivotal role in the current techno scene of North America. 

Jakarta-based Ecilo is a techno producer and DJ who has gained vast experience since he began his work in the techno space back in 2007. On top of an extensive touring schedule, Ecilo has received the ultimate nod of approval from none other than Jeff Mills, whose label Axis was the home of his 2021 Uncovert album. Other notable Ecilo releases can be found on Developer’s Olympian, Edit Select’s eponymous imprint, Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave, Emmanuel’s A R T S, Planet Rhythm, and more.

With a cumulative near-four-decade experience in the electronic music industry, Synthetik Sounds aims to be a home for techno artists whose sound remains true to the ethos of underground techno. 

The imprint will focus on building bridges between North America, Europe, Asia and beyond, acting as a platform for artists whose output leans both on deep, hypnotic techno as well as darker, and harder soundscapes of the genre.

The first release is an EP titled “Protech The Skyline” and is scheduled for April 22nd release, featuring five original tracks from Ecilo that firmly underscore Synthetik Sounds’ vision for the label: quality dance-floor focused techno fitting for the dark warehouse spaces 6AM and Synthetik Minds curate.

Elsewhere, her radio show InTheMood continues to fly the flag for Nicole’s musical expression. For 11 years now she has hosted the show, with a music policy that has become all encompassing. The show is syndicated globally, airing on 60 FM stations worldwide, spreading her sound to millions of listeners around the globe. 

Her highly-regarded techno label Mood is now complemented by MoodCollective - focusing on techno and providing a new platform for self expression. Nicole is also writing a book about her life. In a boldly vulnerable move, she will tell her story in detail, giving fans a chance to gain a deeper understanding of her personal and professional background.

In addition to performing at world renowned events such as EDC and Lollapalooza, Valentino has taken his electrifying ‘High Power’ live shows into sold out venues, determined to leave the audience with a spectacular core memory from every performance.  While specializing in house & techno, Khan’s musical knowledge runs beyond any single genre.  His adaptability as a DJ has afforded him the ability to play in every kind of environment and connect with any crowd.

As a producer, Khan has also crafted widely successful tracks like ‘Welcome to the Party’ with Diplo, French Montana and Lil Pump; which went RIAA Platinum in the US. Khan also secured gold plaques as a producer for ‘Oops’ by Yung Gravy & Lil Wayne and ‘Bubble Butt’ from Major Lazer, Tyga & 2 Chainz.

He is also no stranger to creating dance floor hits.  Valentino’s record ‘Deep Down Low’ propelled him into an entirely new stratosphere. The record was statistically the most played song in live DJ sets for 2 years in a row and was coupled with an award-winning, mind-bending music video.  Valentino’s versatility has also allowed him to collaborate with a wide range of dance music artists such as Skrillex, Diplo, Alison Wonderland, Dillon Francis and Deorro.
