Born in Turin, I am currently based in Oslo. 
Playing as a DJ since 2003, in 2010 I started composing tracks ranging from ambient to techno while studying sound design. In recent years I approached different sounds like Dub Techno, Detroit, Funk and House, exploring different musical identities.

Hugo Samba's only objective is to make people forget the DJ, fully embrace the dance and slow down their sense of time. To achieve this, he blends his musical background, cultural roots, and skills in electronic music. Thanks to labels like Sounds of Sirin, Sounds International and Café de Anatolia, he travels between Afro/Deep House and Progressive/Melodic House. You can also listen to his DJ Sets on supportive radio such as Uncoded Radio and Beyond the Inner Journey.

You can meet him in Paris, playing with his collective La Miaou Records, which he founded in 2023 to write his own path through friendship and passion.
