The Serbian producer returns to the imprint with another crucial selection of masterpieces that are perfect for any mix set.  The LP starts out strong with the heavy Jungle-influenced vibes of “Babylon Funk,” “Perpetual,” and “Red Dawn.”  The songs set the tone with their heavy, chopped-up drums, dub-influenced echo effects, bouncy basslines, and energetic growling mid bass sounds that Soul Connection is known for.  The LP also shows off his ability to craft modern dancefloor tracks, with the hard-hitting sounds of “Bad Man,” “Funk Origin,” “Deeper Funk,” and “Rastaman.”  

One of the special treats on the album is a dancefloor co-produced by the one and only, A.K.A.  The song takes a more stripped-down approach to the dancefloor sound, boasting a low, rumbling bassline, perfectly timed wobble basses, and enough interesting sounds to keep things moving.  Overall, Soul Connection proves why he’s one of the producers to check out every time that he releases something, and this time it’s a Deeper Funk type of special!
