@ombrar1 is a French and British young producer formed as a Sound engineer. He is driven by sound even more than music itself which has shaped a lot the way he produces music. Always on the move, his style became harder over the years, continuing his path towards a more violent and rough sound.
Passionate by all the different sound techniques and tools, whether it’s with analog gears or digital ones he keeps experimenting all the time, and his interest for Field recordings, gives to his music a certain texture that is easily identified. Ombrar had the opportunity to play in several clubs with the Ultracks Records agency.
His ever increasing experience in the Sound domain has enabled him to work on different projects such as Cinema, Radio and even Audio Books. He also spends a lot of time working on his label Black Silhouette with his brother.
Deeply inspired by the eeriness and unknown of this world, he is always searching for atmospheres that will define his path.

LABURNŪM starts its EP series with what seems to be in the continuity of French producer OMBRAR’s path toward experimentation combined with a rough and hard-driving techno sound. You may find noisy guitar sounds recorded for each track, a broken piano, the relentless presence of field recordings of all sorts and some sharp modular sounds as well. On the flip side, London producers Burden and Cathédral served two powerful remixes, both club-oriented and as granular as the originals. It looks like this EP will have many layers to discover and rediscover to explore the eeriness of this world.

Oliver and Alexander working together by sending track ideas, loops and arrangements back and forth. 
Each one develops their own ideas, then brings them together in a perfect balance for mental dance floor tools. 
Both artists are well known for their outstanding sound design and mixing skills.
Get carried away by pounding drums and razor sharp hi-hat patterns. Intense synth workouts, nebulous atmospheres and well-chosen floating percussion parts are designed to melt the boundaries between modern sci-fi sounds and 90s techno vibes.

This release is an absolute weapon and meant to create a higher state of tension and high voltage energy on any techno dance floor.

Derrière cette référence à Joy Division se révèle une facette de l’artiste, plus synthétique, puisant dans des inspirations EBM, new-wave et mélodieuse.  Fasciné par la liberté totale et le politiquement incorrect des 80s, Sina XX s’affranchit des canons de la techno contemporaine pour en livrer une version plus personnelle, rappelant par la même occasion le lien de parenté entre Techno et New Wave - ces deux courants majeurs qui allaient changer le visage de la musique à tout jamais.

Pour balancer l’équilibre cosmique, l’EP commence sur “Free From Desire”, titre à l’énergie incandescente et que l'on entend régulièrement dans les sets de DJ AZF ou Remco Beekwilder.

Dischi Autunno return to our collections with a cocktail to lift us… Something with punch, zest, energy. Something classic but mixed in contemporary style. Care for one ‘Last Moscow Mule’?

Our mixologist is Pablo Bozzi. A man of many aliases and collaborative projects including Lapse Of Reason, Imperial Black Unit and Lost Highway. Last appearing on Jennifer Cardini & Noura Labbani’s label earlier this summer remixing Javi Redondo, this is his debut EP for Dischi Autunno and it sounds as delicious as the title tastes…

Prime party starter ‘Broken Siren’ plays the role of the copper mug. An essential vessel for any true Moscow Mule. Sturdy, swaggering-yet-stately, its brazen big beats are bold enough to contain all ingredients that follow. ‘Half Moon’ is the ginger beer. A powerful blast of 80s synth-struck cinematica steeped in emotion, the major key energy fizzes with hope.

‘Morse Code’ is the vodka. A dot here. A dash there. Stern, grounding, foreboding. A post-apocalyptic adventure, once again rooted in Italo, film scores and EBM, this is the dark side of the glass… Before we finally add the twist. ‘Last Moscow Mule’ is that crucial burst of lime that brings the whole shebang together. A rainbow of synths and futurized Italo aesthetics. A disco ball heart beating in a new romantic suit of armour. It’s the flavour that cuts through everything and reflects everything you’ve tasted so far on the EP. Moodiness, optimism, breakbeats, drama, theatre and total escapism. Go on, you deserve it.
