A deep and emotion drawing halftime session from this talented veteran of the Drum & Bass scene, fellow member of Mobile Unit, and Resident DJ for Sound Stream Sessions. Bryan starts us off with the engaging and suspenseful track 'Understanding' from Hidden Element & Physics then meshing effortlessly into 'Forgotten Scores' from Hatti Vatti & Es.tereo, keeping the vibe spooky and full of diverse sound and depth. I am a Drum and Bass DJ/Producer from Kalamazoo, MI.  I have been producing tracks since 2018.  I love raving and have considered myself a raver for well over a decade.  I began my journey in electronic music with the legends Paul Oakenfold, Sasha & Digweed, Daft Punk, etc.  But, when I discovered Drum and Bass it scratched an itch for me that I had never even known was there.

Colin Pierce is a 26 yr veteran DJ hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, USA, where he became highly and widely respected for his skills and integrity. 

“A musical journey”
Colin is a lifetime music junky. He is the first human to be born with headphones already on! Seriously though, since 6 years of age he has been actively seeking, collecting, and enjoying, music, and that was in 1983, so you do the math! Colin had 2 bands in high school, and wrote all or much of the music for them. He started mixing records in 1998 shortly after his first rave party, and hasn't stopped, always continuing to refine his formidable technical skills and dynamic range, and always working to pursue improvement. 

Colin is going on a decade clean and sober, as of 2024, and does not play gigs often anymore, focusing on discovering God's purpose. He does it strictly for the love at this point, for the communication, the merging of minds. Having retired mostly from live performances, he is now working on refining the art of mixing, which was the first love: long mixing tracks so that they really dance together and form something new and compelling. Exploring key mixing and perfecting the seamless mix is the new fascination, as well as a rediscovered passion and appreciation for liquid drum and bass. Is it 1984 already?!?!

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.  Don't be mad if I have not replied to your message in the past two years, that's because I never got them ; ) ... You can always reach me here though.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.

All my field recordings (except for when I record a person) are public, freely downloadable by anyone who is able to click on the button.
