Tally G is back for her fourth installment with the series and we're proud to say we've got another doosey of a mix on our hands. As expected this most talented mixtress delivers another quick moving session full of bangers, and intricate, precise blends. Keeping the flow interesting, artistic, and in rhythm, Tally G drives home a Junglist based session full of dope drums and memorable samples. Bio
Tally G (San Diego), behind the decks off and on for the past two decades, is known
for her diversity as a (mostly) drum and bass DJ, seamlessly blending jungle,
footwork, juke, and neurofunk, among other subgenres, most notably deep, dark,
techy minimal DnB. Every set is a journey, told through a combination of long,
thoughtful transitions, skillfully quick mixing, and energetic double drops guaranteed
to get bodies moving and gun fingers popping. She is one half of Hologynic and one
half of Tex n Bass. She holds residencies with Boomslang Recordings (USDNB), Siren
Project (NYC), Proper Chicago, The Distinguished (CO), Syncopation (AZ), and THC Kru
(USDNB) and is the co-founder of El Paso’s DNBtherapy Drum and Bass. Tally G is also
on the board of directors for Siren Project, an all female-identifying collective
dedicated to providing safe spaces for trans-, non-binary, and cis-women performers
who raise funds for various nonprofit organizations. She has played around the United
States and is currently learning music production.

Resident Sessions Vol. 19 (Colin Pierce aka NyL0C) Liquid DnB Session

The 2 hour format of this stream is one I've become so accustomed to  over time that I've fallen into some kind of well-worn routine of how I approach filling the time. The downside of that is that when I play IRL gigs and I only have one hour to fill, I have a hard time jumping right into the explosive sound and pacing you need to catch and hold the attention of say, a festival crowd. I've been digging through my collection and building more expansive playlists than I normally would in order to force myself out of my comfort zone and try out different set structures, but also to play the type of energetic tunes I tend to avoid sometimes. Sometimes the experiments work, sometimes they don't, but it's always an entertaining endeavor trying to find out.

Guest Mix Vol. 197 'Subliminal Soul' (Colin Pierce aka NyL0C) Live Liquid DnB Session

This was an unexpectedly fun session. After a hefty work week I was feeling a little unprepared on Saturday and decided to sort of dig in to organize and analyze all the new music and promos and strategize on the direction this session was gonna take. A lot of the new stuff had that summer soul feel to it so I just let that be the guiding vibe. First hour was soulful feelgood lush liquid vibes for the most part. Things got a little darker and driving after the midpoint before settling into a stripped dark minimal roller type groove. Last 30 minutes I threw in a little jungle before bringing things down into some futuristic R&B vocal style liquid towards the end. Great turnout and interaction in the chat this week (We even had a Hype Train!). Really enjoyed myself. Much love to the LLL family 🖤

Under a strobe moon in a forgotten warehouse,where basslines purr like engines, lives Miau, the cosmic cat-lady of the underground.

Nobody knows if she’s DJ, dancer, or deity, only that wherever her paws touch the floor, breakbeats multiply. With glowsticks like claws and fur that shimmers neon pink under UV, she prowls the decks, scratching time itself into 160 BPM riddims. Some say she was raised by sound systems, others that she escaped from an ancient Egyptian rave temple. Her mission is simple: keep the bass rolling, keep the people skanking, and never let the party sleep.

When you hear the hiss of vinyl and the faint “miau” in the reverb tail, know that she’s nearby, tail flicking, eyes glowing, waiting for the drop.
