Inspired by a painting I saw in a Dundee gallery called Christ and the two Disciples on the Way to Emmaus. What got me was the look of astonishment on the disciples faces as they realised their travelling companion was the resurrected Christ.

Some collaborations you work at, some fall right into place.  Such is the case with this song first inspired by Madame Snowflake's acapella version, and instrumentally arranged by Seagull.  My first obstacle was being mesmerized with what he had done so far.  But the second was easy; just be judicious and organic with the nylon string guitar.  I gave him two versions which he generously incorporated into the song.  Seagull is a gifted writer, performer, and producer, and what a great privilege and honor to work with him and the mysterious Snowflake.

Hey music friends, this is my very first open collaboration. I've been meaning to to do one for a little while now but was waiting for a track to come along that has enough open space for additions but that can also kind of stand on it's own. I thought this one fit the bill. It's a minimal beat that I created using the Volca Drum with just a few melodic lines produced in Korg Gadget. One of the lines is accentuated with the Minilogue. I hope a few of you will be inspired to try working with it!
