[PREMIERE] Maniaque Nocturne - Misery Clan [Shishi Records]

Mick Wills is no stranger to Frigio Records, the German Dj and producer has turned his hand to edits and remixes on previous releases and now arrives with his own 12” of edits for the volumen 4th of the label’s Ecdisis series. The source material for the two pieces on offer comes from Brazil’s Simbolo, a band formed in 1988 and still active with a career spanning more than
thirty years, was a central player in South America’s EBM and Synth scene.
Wills has selected two tracks from the Brazilian’s back catalogue, the first being “Mind.”
Industrial influences come immediately to the fore, complex drum patterns give way to a juddering groove in which guttural vocals depict a scene of hurt and pain. “Synchrono” occupies the flip. Taken from the 1995 album, In the Danger Zone, the original two minute piece is extended into a seven plus minute epic. Following on from “Mind”, “Synchrono” melts
stuttering bass-lines and textured percussion with indecipherable lyrics counter-balancing heady strings. Two cuts of emotive and impacting electronics.

Píldoras Tapes first intention in becoming a label was to release our talented friends from Colombia that are doing amazing music, we are very happy to present Ana Gartner's Ep Electric Shocks, deep Dark Wave, Synth pop with remixes from Andrea Paz, Ravetop, Halb Machine ft Aicardi and Panama Papers. Electric Shocks Ep is full of cold, dark, synth melodies and atmospheres mixed between Ana's voice. Remixes are more dancefloor oriented, but they keep the dark and cold sensations of Ana's tracks.

MM PREMIERES are meant to transcend the ordinary and immerse themselves in the sacred realm of music, beholding the unseen and embracing the new melodic tapestry even before it unveils itself to the world.

Presenting a sneak peek of Marienus' track, "Drasland Op De Heuvelrug," from the Machine Cult label. Marienus, a talented Dutch DJ and producer, known for hosting No Soap Radio on @operator-radio and being a part of @publicsex-regime, showcases his skills as a great DJ and selector. Machine Cult, led by Déandrah and Garçon Taupe, operates both as an electronic music platform and a record label with a series of events. The launch party is set to take place at OT301 in Amsterdam on November 25th.

The aim is to spotlight a slice of the vibrant local and international music scene in the Netherlands, marking the debut with Edition One. Six original tracks, curated from the musical landscapes of Amsterdam and Rotterdam, feature contributions from artists such as Déandrah (AMS), Garçon Taupe (AMS), Marienus (RTM), Moodswings (AMS), The Spy (AMS), and Xceptor (RTM). Dive into the sounds of this new label and explore the diverse offerings it brings to the forefront.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Unhuman + Petra Flurr. “Distraction = Destruction” comes off the debut full length album, Cause of Chaos (She Lost Kontrol) by the collaboration between the Berlin based producer Unhuman and the performer - activist Petra Flurr.  The two artists return to the label after their single releases in the two volumes of Surviving in Europe and for Unhuman, after his mighty Aktion Mutante ep in collaboration with Violet Poison back in 2018. 

Cause Of Chaos comprises eight tracks filled of energy and steeped in to gothic nostalgia and electronic body music. The well-known artists create a mix of post-punk and synthesizer electronics shaped by their uncompromised textures, that glides through genres with ease and combines modern style with retro goodness. An abstract style of contamination seldom seen within the modern music spectrum.
