Shinkei (1406-75) was a renowned renga poet and critic, best known for his two-part work “Sasamegoto” (Murmured Conversations). Deep in the mountains [naviarhaiku537]

I'm a composer, working from a 3' x 5' studio (some may call it a dinette) in a 5th wheel camper, while traveling the United States. I've been on the road for six years, so most of my recent work will have come from a different state (of mind and location) during my travels.

Music makes me feel better about everything. I don't know that I'm ever happier than when I am creating. I sometimes wonder if creativity isn't one of the primary keys to happiness. Do you ever feel better than when you say, "Look what I did."? This phrase magically conjures the purest sense of childlike joy.

Music works for every part of our lives. We all have music for when we are sad, happy, celebrating, meeting others, when we are alone, and even when we are lonely. Did a song come to mind as you read each of those situations? I remember the first song I ever heard on the radio, on my first bus ride to kindergarten. One of my favorite musical memories is playing in a band for steel beach on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz.

I love telling stories with music. Everybody loves John Coffey in the Green Mile, but Mr. Jingles should have a song commemorating his reaching and joining the circus at Mouseville. Jesús Lastra aka Voidborn Horde, is a Venezuelan ambient electronic music composer born in 1986. Since 2002, He starts this musical journey by exploring experimental sounds, influenced by ambient music and soundscapes that evoke vast and ethereal imaginary worlds. Under the alias Voidborn Horde, he has developed an unique style with electronic elements and ambient textures, finding a kind of "false enviroment sounds" to give the listener an immersive and dreamlike experience. His music is characterized by its ability to evoke neutral deep emotions and meditative states of patience, making him a reference in the ambient music scene.

In some words:
Composer, arranger, producer, multi-instrumentalist. Born in Argentina,
I studied music in Buenos Aires, New York, Boston, Los Angeles and Paris.

For 20 years, I developed an important career as a session and backing musician in Argentina and Europe, playing, among other instruments, the bass, touring and recording with many jazz, rock, fusion, world, Latin and tango bands.

At the same time, I worked as an arranger, producer and musical director with many projects and artists in the USA, Argentina and Europe.

From 1992 to 1997, I performed my compositions live with my own band in Buenos Aires and began a solo recording career with the worldwide release of my first album "The Years Alone" on the North American label Green Linnet/Xenophile. On this album I arranged and performed 11 of my songs written between 1986 and 1993. I played most of the instruments, but included guest appearances by some great South American players.

My recording career continued with "Segundo Ciclo" (1997), released worldwide by Timeless Records, and 12 more albums released between 2000 and 2016.

Currently, I work as an on-demand film/TV composer while continuing to play live and produce.

Kurt Baggaley, also known under the alias as Scape One is an electronic music producer based in England. Over the course of his career his music has ranged from driving futuristic electro of his early EPs to more deep and experimental ambient electronica of his Tau Sagittarii releases. His output has gradually become more conceptual with works such as 2012's Natural Phases which focuses on down tempo stripped down low-fi beats with wave formed harmonics. 2015's Former Self consisting of intricate and a slowly building hypnosis of synth sequences.

I love listening to & creating ambient, dark ambient, avant-garde & experimental electronica (and the occasional beatscape). I have no professional aspirations  - I just really like creating music / manipulating sounds. It's my way of relaxing after a hard day at the office. All my tracks are produced using monitoring headphones (Audix A140) so I recommend that you listen to my music through headphones. My DAW of choice is FL Studio. I also use Reason every now & then. 


To the artists I follow; I do my best to try to listen to as many of your tracks as possible each night (I listen to each track all the way through - you went through the effort to create a track so you deserve to have it heard in full). If I miss a recent upload of yours, please forgive me...
