In the famous “Rigoletto” quartet the voices of Liparit Avetisyan (the Duke), Emily Fons (Maddalena), Madison Leonard (Gilda), and Lester Lynch (Rigoletto) come together in one of opera’s greatest ensembles. The Duke woos Maddalena, who laughs at him; unseen by them, his ex-lover, Gilda, wails and her father, Rigoletto, mutters words of vengeance. Carlo Montanaro conducts the orchestra of Seattle Opera. After successfully graduation from the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich Germany, Steffen Kaltschmid began his career as a composer and producer for film & tv music in 1998 with short films like LUMEN from director PHILIP KOCH and TV series like TATORT, SOKO 5113, ALARM FÜR COBRA 11 and BERND DAS BROT. 

A lot of films and TV series like DEADLY LEAKS, POLIZEIRUF, COMMISSAIRE DUPIN, BARCELONA CRIME, DER BOZEN KRIMI, ERLEBNIS ERDE, TERRA MATER, CHI RHO-THE SECRET, NORD NORD MORD, WATZMANN ERMITTELT etc. followed.

Since 2007 he is collaborating with award winning composer FABIAN RÖMER.

In the past few years he published the Soundtracks DIE PILGERIN, GRIMM’S FOREST - THE NATURE OF FAIRY TALES, THE LESSER CAUCASUS, WILD MOROCCO and IM ZAUBERTAL DER KRÖTEN.

He lives with his wife and two cats on the edge of the Alps south of Munich in a region called "Blaues Land".
