For me, this release also marks a personal moment. In 2026, I celebrate 10 years of working and releasing music under the name Don Juan Mezcal. This set reflects that path. It is shaped by long sessions behind the decks, careful selection, and an ongoing interest in sound as a tool for focus, movement, and presence.

Musically, the journey moves through deep and hypnotic grooves with organic and subtle psychedelic textures. It is not about peak moments, but about flow, timing, and atmosphere. The intention is to create a steady narrative that works both on the dancefloor and in a listening context.

This set is a simple and honest thank you to Magic Vibes and everyone who has been part of Sharing The Vibe over the years. Turn it on, listen closely, and take your time.

Don Juan Mezcal - 6Th Anniversry birthday set for Sharing the vibe

I originally created this journey for a  vibro-acoustic & frequency treatment spa in Costa Rica. The intention was to create a guided journey for relaxation, nervous system regulation and a soundtrack that invites us to harmonize and reconnect with nature.

It features ocean sounds and whale recordings from my trip to Hawaii for a deep immersive experience. All the sounds are tuned to 432 Hz precise temperament tuning, the most resonant tuning that is based in phi-ratio intervals and mathematically coherent across all scales. Its basically a tuning fork for our bodies and DNA to get back into our natural state of Harmonic Resonance.

This journey also features Isochronic tones that help the brain to entrain first into a state of relaxation with alpha brainwaves and across the journey into a deep meditative theta state.

Many clients reported how they felt deeply relaxed, at peace or inspired and rejuvenated after listening to it and I decided to share it here.

I highly suggest to listen on headphones for a deeply immersive experience.

I've received many requests to craft sonic journeys for unique events, but a Baby Blessing Ecstatic Dance was a first! 

Friends and ecstatic dancers Heather and Dustin invited the community to gather for a full-day baby blessing in the little village of Procter just outside Nelson, BC. The opening ritual? An Apukuna ecstatic dance. Yeow!!!

I took the invitation a little further than expected (hehe)... designing a journey through music and movement that tells a story of love, conception, birth, and life. 

If you listen -- and move -- closely, you might just hear the arc unfold: hidden love, falling in love, sensuality, conception, fertilization, the magic within the womb, labor, birth, celebration, joy, and finally a blessing for life, for mothers, and for mama Gaia. All woven into one Ecstatic Dance!

Maybe for you, if not a literal birth, perhaps this is a dance to follow your own journey of something new that is being born in your life, or is wishing to be. A dream. A new path. A new way of seeing who you are. How might you use this dance to embody the journey, or prepare for it.

As always, this is a movement. a meditation, and a prayer for an awakening heart.
