The sound of desert blues has been a major influence on my musical taste since I first came into contact with it in my early teenage years. The expression of the culture of the traditionally nomadic people of the Sahara region is a beautiful blend of many different styles that speak to my soul. 

In this ecstatic desert dance mix, I've compiled some of the original gems and many great edits from some of my favorite producers. The second anniversary of the FB group "Sharing the Vibe" is a perfect opportunity to share these amazing grooves with a fine heart community who appreciate these treasures as much as I do. Travelling 3 months in our mobile home with my children through 6 countries, playing ecstatic dances at awesome places like: in a big greenhouse comunity in Gent Belgium, on the mountains at the outskirts of Barcelona, in a awesome Dome on the cliffs beside the ocean in Ibiza, in an old landhouse by the sea in sintra and at the red bull academy dance studio in porto both places in Portugal.
      
During our travel we also combine my ecstatic dances with visiting some alternative way of living communities and different families that live in the nature. Educating our children in a very natural way of living, simple, ecological, conscious; aware about whats happening with this our human experience and cultivating the love of life and creation. With counted just few exceptions we were all the time in nature, climbing, surfing, trekking, dancing and just enjoying the forests, the trees, the sand dunes, the hills and cliffs, the waterfalls and lakes, the skies, the stars and the sun, the moon and the deserts; always wondering about our mother earth and this life that we have, seeing her always present.

We hear a lot music and played it. A part of them is here recorded in the podcast for agami. A very special one, that tell the history of a diferent kind of nature landscapes, emotions and most of the powerful waves of the atlantic ocean that accompany us most of the time in our nomad path. 
      
Intense times need a lot of dance and nature conection, tons of love and joy to overcome the fears and sadness.

Here is my live set from Boom Festival.  So many of us had been waiting to come back to boom for such a long time, and when it was finally possible, there was an incredibly powerful field created on this special land in Portugal.


To have the opportunity to play a live set for people who poured their soul out to one another in the Prana Shala that evening, is something that I will remember forever, and I am deeply humbled and grateful that I was able to be there for this moment.

This 3 hour journey was recorded in the sweet morning hours of the Ambyss Stage, in the middle of the vortex portal that was and is OZORA Festival:  

Lovingly named a "Psychedelic Tribal Gathering", this visionary festival really cracked my artist-heart & elder-raver-spirit open...I had multiple moments of releasing tears from the beauty around me:  from the exquisite electronic music, to the visionary art surrounding me, to all of the diverse open-hearted humans swimming in my field:  reminding me of the spiritual roots of house-music and rave-culture that shaped me in the late 90's, and continues to shape me...such a blessing to receive this medicine.

To be able to weave my musical contribution into this rich-tapestry was an honor, and enlivened my artistic spirit (who does not enjoy formulas or being put into boxes)...I loved being in an open space of infinite possibilities, and I bow to the open minds & souls that received these frequencies:  journeying between Ambient, Medicine Music & no tracks above 90 bpm, creating a sweet-womb-cocoon for the morning.

New Earth Nectar vol.9 Live @ O.Z.O.R.A Festival | Ambyss Floor | Sweet in the Morning Set

I had the great honour to play a special suprise Sunrise Set from 6 am - 7 am at the "Dance Beyond - Ecstatic Dance - Retreat" at the wonderful "Eagles Nest" which offers a spectacular View over the Lake Atitlan and it's Volcanos in Guatemala. It was just magical and epic to vitness and accompany this spectacular event. A Moment of feeling Greatness and Humbleness at the same time. So peaceful yet powerful. Beyond Words...
