Calm before the storm.
A guitar-driven instrumental with elements of post-rock style ambient. Cinematic and hauntingly beautiful melancholy song.

This track is based upon the melody I have lately in my mind that was inspired by some classical concerts I have seen recently in Concert Hall "Lisinski".
Written especially for the G-technology Driven Creativity Competition 2013 and it took me about 3 weeks to finish it.
Update: Poseidon was shortlisted among best 15 composition and one of the most listened on competition.

Always happy to lend music and would love to take part in cinematic projects.

I am a part time singer / songwriter, meaning that I spend that part of my time with music, that is not occupied by my children and job. I just recently converted from classical music to somthing more "pop" and started to write my own music. So I'm pretty much of an autodidact when it comes to instrumentation and arranging, and just try to produce something I like with the limited means of a little home studio. Only thing I really learned from scratch is singing. I started classical vocal training at the age of 13 and have sung countless times with my really good choir and solo. And always looked down a little upon pop singing, until I finally started to do modern vocal coaching and found out how difficult it is to sing this kind of music well, too. So right now I still feel like I'm wandering between both worlds. Happy to get any kind of feedback, comments, criticism, advice, whatever, don't hesitate ;-)
Open to interesting and challenging collabs of all kind. I have lots of uncomposed lyrics and song ideas in my mind that I just don't have the time to put into music. I work with Logic and play my arrangements on a Kawai MP 9000 (for the nice fortepiano feeling), but not that this would make much of a difference, since Logic has this nice Steinway...and allows me to slightly correct my imperfect piano playing ;-) I record with a Brauner Phantom classic and a UA twinfinity 710 preamp. Oh, and Autotune or Melodyne and me, we're not friends, no no!
