Catz 'n Dogz present a brand new EP on their Step Recordings, this time coming from Spanish House Music veteran Danny B.

After dropping Prog House rollers from Baldo and Youandewan or 4/4 Techno flavoured cuts from Lady Blacktronika and Elisa Bee, Step Recordings is about to release something more soulful and closer to original House music. The man behind this is Danny B, a Spanish producer heavily inspired by masters like Frankie Knuckles, ‪Larry Heard‬ and Kerry Chandler. His 'Find Myself' EP is a collection of 4 original tracks, a masterfully crafted mix of acidy basslines, broken beats, warm pads and dub flavoured stabs, the perfect combination of elements for dancefloor fillers. I was born in Motril (Granada) in 1977. I traveled to Mallorca in the 80s. I grew up in a humble neighborhood in Palma. It was in 1994 when I started to fall in love with electronic music listening to the radio programs of the Dream Team of Toni Peret, Jose M * Castell and Quique Tejada who at that time were in charge of making the Max Mix and putting them on sale... there I began to record the songs that I liked the most and it was then when I told myself that I wanted to be a DJ, it was back in 1995 when I started to play a Technics turntable for the first time and I played several styles such as Trance, Dance, Progressive & House... Always looking for new sounds that would transmit when playing them.
