Catz 'n Dogz present a brand new EP on their Step Recordings, this time coming from Spanish House Music veteran Danny B.

After dropping Prog House rollers from Baldo and Youandewan or 4/4 Techno flavoured cuts from Lady Blacktronika and Elisa Bee, Step Recordings is about to release something more soulful and closer to original House music. The man behind this is Danny B, a Spanish producer heavily inspired by masters like Frankie Knuckles, ‪Larry Heard‬ and Kerry Chandler. His 'Find Myself' EP is a collection of 4 original tracks, a masterfully crafted mix of acidy basslines, broken beats, warm pads and dub flavoured stabs, the perfect combination of elements for dancefloor fillers. This week’s guest mix is coming from UK-based Italo disco producer Emmet Read. We have been following him for a while now and are extremely happy to share his uplifting sounds with you. His music is heavily focused on Italo Disco and classic analog synthesizers, and already got many of you moving when we dropped his killer track ‘Spangle’ during our latest event. 

In this Radio Show he plays some of his other heartwarming productions together with some recent Italo Disco and Indie Dance releases from other artists.

It was a natural thing that CYK came to be — when some of Tokyo’s house freaks came together to throw their own party. Not only a platform for showcasing international guests, CYK is also a collective of DJs, organizers, and promoters.

CYK has invited international guests such as Mall Grab, Baba Stiltz, Avalon Emerson, Nachtbraker, Seb Wildblood and Beesmunt Soundsystem to Tokyo and promoted Japanese domestic talents such as Jun Kamoda and Sauce 81 to young clubbers. 

CYK themselves will show off an exclusive B2B set by four members. They launched the party series "CYK & Friends" and the podcast "CYK TOKYO RADIO" to support "Friends" in Japan and abroad.

It’s a beautiful thing when friends work together and this is the case for Alex Virgo & Benjamin Groove. Long-term friends with eclectic tastes in music have in recent years found synergy in their music production together, bouncing off of each other and producing exciting results.

2. Alex Virgo & Benjamin Groove - New Romantic Love Affair MST

On their double A side release via Manual Music's 90watts imprint, the Savrun Brothers deliver a pair of tracks that travel hand in hand yet reside in complementary emotional spaces.

'Reminisce' opens the dancefloor with an organic house energy laced with subtle nods to acid house. Crisp, fluid basslines and squelchy licks peek through the rhythmic foundation, while ethereal, mystique tinged vocal snippets drift in and out, casting moments of nostalgic introspection. The track strikes a balance: it is rooted in groove yet curious in texture, inviting repeated listens and surprises in its details.

Flipping to 'Saxeus', the tone deepens. Here lies the more introspective half of the release, slower to unfold, richer in harmonic nuance, and suffused with an emotional weight that turns inward. Where 'Reminisce' reaches outward, 'Saxeus' converses with the self, leaving more space in its arrangement and allowing subtle shifts in mood to resonate.

Together, the two tracks embody the duality of a double A side: one for movement and light touch euphoria, the other for reflection and deeper sonic communion. It is a deft showcase of the Savrun Brothers' range within the organic house realm.
