PREMIERE: Ryuta Muramatsu - Come Get To Me [Kooley High Records]

Casiopepe is the lovechild of two good old friends of Pets and you are welcome to treat yourself to a tasty dish from their recipe book. This is no pasta, mind you, but a zesty mix of Euro-house grooves and addictive hooks, sure to please the synth-loving and the disco-crazed among us.

Although Euphoriac EP is only coming after last year's releases on Jaki Records and Dom Trojga, it actually contains some of Casiopepe's earliest recorded material. Put simply, this is the very music that made everyone around fall in love with the project in the first place, while also winning their pure hardware live show slots at Rex Club and Akasha Festival.

The title track is a masterful statement of purpose, an irresistible piano-led tune that just keeps on building, while Moustache to Moustache displays the duo's love of melody and a knack for quirky drum programming - even more evident in the essential Bonus Beat version. To top things off, disco dons Tiger & Woods deliver an arpeggiated remix of Euphoriac that tones things down a little, while lending it some unmistakable eleganza romana.

Catz 'n Dogz present a brand new EP on their Step Recordings, this time coming from Spanish House Music veteran Danny B.

After dropping Prog House rollers from Baldo and Youandewan or 4/4 Techno flavoured cuts from Lady Blacktronika and Elisa Bee, Step Recordings is about to release something more soulful and closer to original House music. The man behind this is Danny B, a Spanish producer heavily inspired by masters like Frankie Knuckles, ‪Larry Heard‬ and Kerry Chandler. His 'Find Myself' EP is a collection of 4 original tracks, a masterfully crafted mix of acidy basslines, broken beats, warm pads and dub flavoured stabs, the perfect combination of elements for dancefloor fillers. Anders Hajem takes inspiration from classic house on his superb new release for Mellom.
Anders Hajem is a producer from Ål in Hallingdal, Norway with a background playing in local bands. He studied production in Oslo and was immersed in the city's nightlife while releasing as Clastique and DJ Username for his own BCR label. Now under his own name, he produced these tracks in his own studio and they find him widening his sound after his debut on Prins Thomas's Full Pupp last year. While he shows a different side, he retains his trademark sense of energy and masterfully deploys an MPC2000XL to get an authentic old-school vibe.
The opener 'Send It' has a big heart and big energy. The piano chords are party starting, the bass is fat and the groove will lift dancers off their feet. Synth lines bring plenty of colour, subtle acid textures and futuristic soul and help make this one such a characterful track.
Then comes 'Tape,' a warm and deep cut with soft, diffuse synths and a hazy atmosphere. The dusty drums and romantic chords make for a chilled vibe but with a heavy groove that also makes you dance.
It's house music for good times with close friends.
These tracks prove that whatever style Anders Hajem serves up, he always gets it just right for the dance floor.

This week’s guest mix is coming from UK-based Italo disco producer Emmet Read. We have been following him for a while now and are extremely happy to share his uplifting sounds with you. His music is heavily focused on Italo Disco and classic analog synthesizers, and already got many of you moving when we dropped his killer track ‘Spangle’ during our latest event. 

In this Radio Show he plays some of his other heartwarming productions together with some recent Italo Disco and Indie Dance releases from other artists.
