Poem:
Emily Elizabeth Dickinson  was an American poet. Little-known during her life, she has since been regarded as one of the most important figures in American poetry.

In this poem, Dickinson discusses her love for a man. She is jealous of everything around him, the water "He rides", the Chariots, the hills that watch him going by, the sparrows, the fly, even the leaves.
"I envy Seas, whereon He rides --" can be seen as a love poem for a man, but it can also be seen as a religious poem. The mention of Heaven and Gabriel can easily make this connection. The love of God and the love of everything he created.

Track consisting of 1 bass, 1 guitar, 1 drum and heavily processed vocals, this is arguably a bit of an album filler. Started out jamming and it turned into this, didn't really go ahead and polish it (like, making the drums more interesting, and so)

I remixed it in a functional/minimal style this year to be included on the Overland album, and now making it public here on the Cloud as well to bridge the time until I can actively work on new material again.

I like the lyrics, mostly:

grinding out the foresight
moon is up and fullbright
feeding back on the insight
burning taste of the mind

final words are spoken
prayers of dead and omen
giving hell a token
of passing by, unbroken

save for skies on fire
narrowing the wire
slowly fade the choir
angels too expire

Introduction in English:

Most recently, after a long time, I was at the "Black Cafe" on Berlin's Kurfürstendamm. And as I sat there, I remembered a scene from my life that was the starting point for the song "Treason:
About 25 years ago I'm sitting one Saturday morning at three o'clock in the Black Cafe. Although I hardly ever drink alcohol, I'm drinking my third glass of vodka to wash down the increasingly painful shock of a triple betrayal: 
My wife betrayed our fidelity alliance because she cheated on me. My best friend betrayed our friendly loyalty because my wife cheated with him. And finally, I betrayed myself by taking poor care of myself and blindly trusting them.
The associated feeling of "nothing is the same as it was before" and "everything that seemed so right now appears wrong, upside down, or in shambles..." I have tried to express with this song.

Red light turns blue
Discreetly, data is stolen
The upright mountain 
Is in truth a tiny garden gnome

The handshake firm yet shallow
A promise that gives way to crime
A gold bar suspiciously light
Wryly calibrated

The walking stick breaks

This is my latest piece, i am very proud of it but its not quite finished, Its an emotional journey about dreaming the life you want.  i was just very excited and wanted to get a version out there quickly! Roberto B (@mgxloop and @volt5000) and I are glad to present "Egeia (Oriental Mix)", as track 8 in our collaborative album in progress since the start of 2022. The track was created in collaboration on 29, 30 and 31 August 2021 (initial recording, arrangements and mix in GarageBand and Logic Pro X by Alex M) and 23, 24, 25 and 27 February 2022 (subsequent additions, arrangements, recording and final mix in MAGIX by Roberto B) and posted here on SoundCloud on 27 February 2022 (by Alex M). We have used sound effects from Alex M's own sample of field recordings, namely, Gentle Early Morning Sea Waves (recorded on 26 August 2021, on the beach in the village of Kariani, Aegean Sea coast, north Greece).

The artwork cover is based on a photo taken by Alex M (on 25 August 2021 on the beach in the village of Kariani, Aegean Sea coast, north Greece), cropped and annotated on 27 February 2022 in Preview (Mac OS) by Alex M.
