Creating dark and ominously sexy synth-laden tracks, the artist weaves her poetry - sometimes English, sometimes French - into the smokey atmosphere as spoken word. Taken from her second LP, Un Autre Voyage (out April 14th on Holodeck Records), Insomnie builds in intensity, layering electronic ladders as you make it through the haze and through another sleepless night. Stephen Caulfield is a composer and producer from Reading, UK, crafting immersive ambient soundscapes inspired by nature, memory, and the flow of time. His current Blue Water series traces the journey of a drop of water through glacial and post-glacial landscapes, blending piano, electronics, and field recordings into layered, evolving pieces. Stephen writes and produces all his music himself, often incorporating his own photography and field recordings. His work has been featured on BBC radio and in documentary films.
