Artist Commentary: “La Ermitaña” is really important to me because it symbolizes a positive, empowering return to music and songwriting after a long hiatus. 
I’d been writing mostly poems or scattered pieces of art that didn’t necessarily fit into any category for a long time before getting to the studio, and then Mu.Sick Studios helped me connect everything feel together and bring clarity to the emotions I’d been trying to express for so long. 
I feel like the song ended up sounding much lighter in comparison to the initial very heavy feelings that inspired it, but I take that as a positive thing: maybe there is something beautiful, and even lighthearted about the things that cause you a significant amount of pain. This song positively surprised me.
I think La Ermitaña can resonate with people who might look into the spiritual side of things for comfort and psychological clarity. I think this song benefits from just being felt, instead of rationalized or even understood.
I’d love to hear your take on this song, what does the hermit figure mean to you? I’m no longer ashamed of being the hermit, I’ve embraced it!

Artist Commentary: The story of Beijing, as a song, started out - unsurprisingly - in Beijing, China!
I wanted to vent about the paradoxical experience of feeling lonely in such an extraordinary city such as Beijing - ultimately, where I still felt, perhaps understandably, like a foreigner. 
I had the honor of having UK-based producer Darren Martyn listen to my venting, so he could turn it into powerful, cinematic music.
Beijing, however, only saw the light of the day once I was actually not in Beijing at all, which motivated me to rewrite parts of the song from a more distanced perspective. 
I feel very proud of the fact that this song reflects how someone that sometimes can be somewhat sad and introspective can actually be really strong. This song helps me connect to that part of me that feels powerful, and I hope it can help whoever listens to it feel the same way. Thank you so much for listening! I can’t explain how much I truly appreciate it.

Artist Commentary: “Sorrow” is a song I feel deeply connected to and proud of. Its musicality reflects a subtle integration of my Brazilian roots, and the lyrics come from a place of real emotional honesty - something I value in everything I create. This song was born from a moment of deep internal conflict: the sorrow I experienced in response to a situation I deemed unfair and saddening. I struggled with putting my feelings into words. But ironically, that very silence is what led to this song. Once I recognized what I couldn’t express, the music helped me find the words. I believe Sorrow will resonate with people who think deeply, feel intensely, and often carry unspoken pain that others might not validate. If this song brings you a sense of recognition, comfort, or emotional solidarity, then I’ve fulfilled one of my greatest hopes as an artist.
